Are the stainless sets non-stick?

The Viking 5-ply Hard Stainless Cookware is not nonstick.

Has anybody used these on an Induction stove? Do the bottoms of these pots and pans have an induction-compatible plate embedded in them? Thanks.

Funny you should ask as we also have an induction stove and found that a few other pots and pans did not work on them. The key is steel. The Viking is all steel and works great on our induction stove. I still prefer to use a non-stick fry pan that has steel in it (not really hard to find) but the Viking cookware is just fine.

I have had this set for about 3 years, used daily. I love it. The pans have held up perfectly and have not shown any sign of being cheap or worn. I would recommend these to anyone looking for quality pots and pans.
