If ahi tuna jerky sounds like something you might want to try, then definitely try Kaimana. Six months ago, I had no idea that tuna jerky even existed -- until my wife and I ran across it at a small store in South Lake Tahoe. It was Kaimana, and it was terrific! Because I liked it so much, I went out and purchased five different brands of tuna jerky, including Kaimana -- three of them were terrible, one was good, but Kaimana still stood well above the rest. It has better flavor and better texture than any other tuna jerky that I tried. The experiment (for me) is over -- I am buying only Kaimana tuna jerky. One day, I might get crazy and try a Kaimana marlin jerky -- you know, branch out a little. But I'm completely sold on their tuna jerky. And no, I have no association with the company, I'm not getting anything for this review. I'm just a run-of-the-mill, boring old satisfied customer. :-)

Excellent product. Moist, flavorful, unique. Dropped my overall rating by one star because the listing on Amazon clearly shows 2.5 ounce packages, but what I received was stickered over to indicate 2 ounces were in each package instead. The shipment of another flavor of the product I received had the correct amount of product in it.

This is the perfect snack. It’s not fishy tasting at all and I think it’s better than beef jerky. The Peppered jerky is the perfect blend of spicy pepper and sweet so your mouth isn’t on fire.

I bought this based on all the excellent reviews, but this is awful. Trader Joe's used to carry a really delicious tuna jerky and I was hoping this would be like it. Not. It's soft, not dry like jerky is supposed to be. You open the package and it smells like opening a can of cat food. I tried a couple of pieces and they had a very old fish flavor. And the worst is they won't let me return it. I spent all this money on an inedible product. Maybe my dog will eat it.....

I ordered the peppered 3 pack. Tastes like it is actually teriyaki that has been peppered. I’ve made a lot of beef jerky in my time as there are only a select few brands that I actually like. They could bring the salt content up a touch and definitely could bring the pepper content up as well. Needs a little more pepper for my taste. When I make beef jerky I use soy sauce, louisiana hot sauce, and I pepper it very heavily on one side once I have laid it out on the tray. I don’t use any added salt other than the soy sauce and my jerky seems to be saltier. Please don’t get me wrong, this stuff is damn good! I would never have thought that Tuna would make such a good jerky. I wonder if you could take a cheaper fish like tilapia and do something similar? I’ll definitely order again.

It's not bad tasting but I probably won't order it again. I've had better tuna jerky. It's well flavored I'm just not crazy about the taste. Perhaps their other flavors are better.

Nice fresh Ahi Jerky. Price was a little high, but the product was fresh & tasty. Hope Amazon adds the whole line of Ahi Jerky flavors to their prime shipping from this company.

It's tasty. I got the peppered because some tuna jerkys are too sweet. I liked it but liked the texture of a different brand a little better. Still sweet, just peppery at the end. Not fishy.
