Gives you energy, keeps you full, tastes great
Recommend to everyone. I had to cut back on caffeine by a lot and was told to get an energy based protein shake. Actually asked chat gbt and this is what I received. 100000% forever getting this. I don’t know what it is but it gives me enough energy as a healthier replacement for coffee and energy drinks, does it keep me pumped and fuels the same? No obviously not but it’s a great replacement if you’re realistic with your expectations. It also keeps me full for the days I don’t have time to have breakfast and the taste is good. Once you get over the thickness like most protein drinks it’s actually pretty good. I drink this religiously! I’ve also felt a huge improvement body wise, I feel way better (I combined this with exercise) so if you’re looking for a way to start a healthy or just “feel better” journey this is the way to start.

Tasty and kick of energy was nice touch
Gonna miss this one if they discontinue it. Seems to be out of stock everywhere and don't think it's even on the manufacturer site anymore either. Just the right amount of calorie intake. Yet gave you a bit of energy to boost your ability that day.

Majorly helpful for managing appetite loss.
I’m prescribed stimulants for ADHD and am extremely sensitive to appetite loss from medications. It’s been a major issue I’ve faced for over 20 years now. If I skip breakfast, which I often do, I end up skipping lunch and feeling sick to my stomach by the time my meds wear off later in the afternoon which, ironically, kills my appetite as well. I’ve tried forcing myself to eat a full breakfast/lunch but when you’re not hungry, its extremely difficult to muster up the effort to go make a meal you don’t even want. As I get older, I worry more about the effects on my health from my wildly fluctuating eating schedule and started looking into meal replacement shakes because even if I’m not hungry, I can quickly chug a drink in the morning with my meds with minimal effort. This puts something on my stomach, making me feel better throughout the day and kickstarts my metabolism. By the end of the day I’m not nauseated and actually hungry. These are smallish bottles which are easy to slam, and the nootropics version contains some caffeine to kickstart my day plus whatever other nootropic vitamin nonsense they add in (I’ll let someone else be the judge on that, no vitamins can fairly compete with my ADHD meds) and I feel better throughout the day and even skip my coffee these days. The chocolate tastes pretty good, not life-changing but I’m just looking for something to chug quickly so it just needs to taste decent enough to not deter me. I can’t attribute feeling better overall to the drink itself, but the simple act of an quick easy breakfast has major benefits on my health and mood. tl;dr I’m on ADHD meds and used to skip breakfast and felt like garbage all day. I started chugging one of these every morning to get something on my stomach and I feel better throughout the day (energy, appetite, etc) They’ve become my morning routing for the last few months and it’s improved my workweek substantially. I highly recommend this if you have morning appetite issues. I wish it were a bit cheaper but I can’t really complain because it’s the only thing I’ve had consistently work for me.

Taste Great! Too $$$!
These taste great! These are smooth, not chalky like others, and have a great flavor/taste to them. I like the energy I get from these while not upsetting my stomach, and getting the extra protein in is great. I wish they weren't so expensive; otherwise, they would be a staple in my house.

Perfection for a long-time fan! Please don't discontinue!
After following this company since v.1 and trying every variation in the past two decades, I can say definitively that the Complete Energy formula is the PERFECT size, volume, and consistency. The similarly-sized Complete Protein is *okay* but the consistency of that one is filmy in comparison and it's cloyingly sweet. The Mocha meal replacement was *okay* before this formula was made available, but it's too large and has a sour taste that's hard to get past. Honestly, I'd prefer the powdered v.5 (aka "pancake batter") over both of those, but the powder is not convenient for people with a million distractions. THIS IS YOUR GOLDILOCKS, Soylent. In fact, the Complete Energy has become such a valued source of vitamins and minerals that I have been known to check a bag when traveling just to make sure I have it daily. I am heartbroken to see it's been unavailable the past couple of months. If it's been discontinued, I'm going to have a real struggle finding something palatable to give me the nutrition, brain boosters, and convenience this has provided for so many years.

Tasty and sweet, weak nootropic
I've tried Huel before which I found meh. I decided to try this chocolate nootropic shake from Soylent. The taste and texture is great. I cannot handle food if it's overly sweet. This shake has adequate amount of sweetness, however, I can tolerate one drink a day. However, I won't buy more of the product. 1. The company has not released the amounts of the L-tyrosine and Alpha GPC choline contained in the drink. I prefer to know exactly what I'm taking. 2. Nootropic blend seems weak. It's more of a slight energy booster than nootropic. 3. It's slightly pricy. Contains these brain boosters: - 100mg of caffeine (equal to small 8oz cup of drip coffee) for focused, calm, sustained energy - 200mg of L-theanine amino acid to balance negative jitter effects of caffeine out (in a 2:1 ratio) - unknown amount of L-tyrosine amino acid (considered a nootropic), used for focus - unknown amount of Alpha GPC choline, an essential nutrient and brain cell building block (30% DV) - unknown amount of B vitamins (B6, B12) - 15 grams of essential amino acid rich soy protein (30% DV)

Thick and creamy
Tastes good. I drank them every morning. The vanilla chocolate and strawberry. I got tired of it after a while. It's creamy.
