I put my 13 year old nephew's gift of money (the gift card did not fit) in this for a little excitement to his gift. The design of it was just difficult enough for him to enjoy the excitement of cracking the puzzle. It is very well made.

I bought this for my 16 year old grandson as a different way to give him cash (which he requested) for Christmas. Although I finally figured out how it was supposed to open, my arthritic fingers had a hard time opening it…I’m creative though, I found “tools” to help lol. Small children would probably have trouble with it, it takes some finger strength. I got it open, put the money in and I hope he has the patience to figure it out. He’s a pretty smart cookie so I think it will be pretty short work for him. 😁 Enjoy.

I used this product in an escape room/treasure hunt for a large family gathering. The box was well constructed and the fittings were tight. The seams could be seen on one end; however, that end was not the latching mechanism so it drew the focus but was not the key to opening the box. Two teams competed to open the box for their clues. One team opened the box in less than a minute and the other team opened it in about 15 minutes. Later on the fastest team was asked to replicate their success and could not open the box for 10-15 minutes. Originally, I have planned on hiding a black light pen in the box but the drawer was too small. Instead, I put the pen cap (which was the light) in the drawer with a paper clue. A gift card would fit snugly. Overall, the box performed well and was greatly enjoyed by all. Throughout the rest of the weekend family members would pick it up and play with it. A good product for the price and purpose.

Received the box in shrink wrap packaging. The instructions to open it are right on top. This was good for me as I needed to place the gift inside before I get it out to the recipient. The box was a little tricky to open given that it was a very tight fit. But, after opening it a few times, it started to loosen up. The only improvement I would recommend is making the box wider so a gift card could fit inside. The length was good, just not the width. I am placing money inside mine just because I can fold it to fit in the compartment. I do like the marble it comes with so people know it should be opened and it is not just a decorative paper weight. Fun gift to give!

Fun product to challenge a really innovative kid determined to open it he spent about 40 minutes working it out then another few more fascinated with the mechanics of it.

This was an awesome way to surprise the hubby with a cruise for 2. Hard to figure out at first which is the point. This would also work great for gifting a gift card. It makes it so much more memorable.

I had to watch a YouTube video to realize that the topnand bottom are actually supposed to be glued together...I thought I somehow had to figure out how to keep the whole box together. It was just broken.

The double puzzle box came a day early! Took me a bit to figure out how to open it LOL but I got it, loaded with treasure (cash) and put back together! What a great way to give money at Christmas to a teenager. Hope my grandson loves it as much as I do!

I have been solving puzzle boxes for nearly 60 years. This is not a puzzle box. It has no sliding pieces. You just pull out one side. Then you can push out the other side. It is a tiny wooden box made with tight tolerances, and nothing more. Avoid this if you are looking for a puzzle box.

This priduct was purchased as a gift. The quality was very good. The quality of cibstruction was very good abd you could not see where the hidden compartments were located. When following the intructions ti was very easy to understand how to open. Overall it was an excellent purchase.
