Great little cage
We are using this as an avairy for a King pigeon, and the space is perfect. We bought 2 of them and took the screen off the panels to allow one big cage. Its a sturdy cage with easy access to food and water. Plenty of shelves. Slide up doors that latch closed. We use paper on the bottom for messes. Ps. We are using this indoors. Honestly, if you have a few pet pigeons, or doves this is great space for them. Oh and the front completely opens for cleaning. So happy we bought this! Edit; we bought 4 more for our other birds! Compared to having this built by a handman, this is a great quick and easy option to house bigger birds...pigeons and doves, non chewers.. The slide up doors are perfect to get food and water out and paper on the floor (we use butcher paper because is easy) Our birds are pets not food incase the question comes to mind. The paper is wide enough and length is cut to size.. I may even be back to purchase more for our cats! A side note to negative quality comments. This isn't going to be perfect. It isn't handmade in your home. It manufactured. Facts. But what IT is...IS a great way to give cats or in my case birds a large space without a lot of fuss. And for those placing these outside. Its DEFINITELY going to need yearly maintenance. Period. Its wood. It needs protection. We have lived in Florida and now Arizona. The elements are going to wear on it JUST like everything else. This will not be a set it up and forget it product. If you can handle that. Its a GREAT cage.

You definitely need a drill and two people
You definitely need a drill even though it only says it's recommended not required. I started putting it together with a screw driver until I realized the majority of the pieces did not have pre drilled holes so I ended up having to use a drill after all. The directions are confusing and it's hard to read the labels on the parts. Splinters easy so be careful. Overall it's a nice product just alot harder to assemble than it seems and you definitely need 2 people to do it.

Cats love it!
This is a great smaller catio and my cats love it. I'm 71 years old and was able to put it together by myself with good instructions and a little effort for some parts. The pegs helped hold sides in place while putting in the screws with a drill. I roll it in front of the sliding door and the cats can come and go as they please. It fits there perfectly with no chance of escape except over the top and I block that with a thin piece of plywood held in place between the slider and the doorframe. The wheels make it very east to roll out onto the patio and the cats love watching the birds and squirrels. When not in use I roll it into the corner and it's out of the way. Great purchase!

Get help to assemble. Otherwise really nice.
Hire someone to help assemble. I did, and not sorry. It's perfect, except the pre-installed sliding door doesn't line up with my window so I have to build a mesh ramp. I bought two of these and the guy connected them together as per instructions and my cat really likes being in it and watching the birds and bugs. Two together gives lots of room.

LOVE IT! Very well made!
I have had this catio since September 23 and it has been out in the weather since then and i have not put any extra paint on it and it has held up great. This is a very sturdy catio and would recommend it to anyone. It was fairly easy to put together with just a screwdriver. Love that it has two doors that i rearranged to put one towards the house, so they can come in and out of a window and one that i can attach all of their extra tunnels to.

Should be a game changer!
I purchased this as I have indoor cats that like to go outside so I'd been having to leave the front door open for them, causing multiple flies and other stray cats to come in. I read several reviews before purchasing, not a cheap buy, and from my research it sounded like the perfect cure. I started building the easier parts last night (connecting shelves, etc) because put together inside, it wouldn't fit through the front door to go back outside once completed. Past reviews had complaints about the company stamping the part numbers too lightly and I think they took that into consideration as mine came with stickers, which was a relief. A couple of my parts were chipped but other than that everything turned out ok. It didn't take me long to put together by myself. Having a drill is a must! I have it up against the window on my front porch. I have my window open and just cut out part of the screen to allow the cats to go in and out. This is awesome because now they can actually go outside at night if they'd like, and with the bottom door latch closed, they are safe and I don't have to worry about other critters coming in. Same during the day while I'm at work. I don't have to worry about them being cooped up in the house all day. They can at least get some fresh air and view the world. Crossing my fingers that they use it, lol. At least the strays are playing in the empty box out on the front porch 😆

We got this for our cats. Our door is slightly bigger so we put a mesh with a zip and connected the catio using a cat tunnel (see photos). Works well, feels sturdy enough. Took around 2.5 hours to build.

So i tend to rarely leave reviews unless products are either a load of old pony or exceptional - this i am pleased to say is a positive review. Firstly the packaging, amazing how they get it all into the relatively small box, and then each piece is wrapped to perfection without excess material but just right. The identifying marks on each piece are actually quite hard to see and find, but once found it all makes perfect sense. It took 2 of us an hour to build with a cordless screwdriver (you will need one) and it was actually good fun to build. The finished product is amazing - how they build this and make money on it is incredible. you couldn't build anything half as good for less. One bit of advice, measure your door width before you build it all inside - ask me how i know !!! Add your own bits and toys and the kittens just love this and are in and out constantly. I have a couple of kittens still quite young, so with one of them flexi tubes from a play pen, connected to the back of the cat flap to the hatch and secured at both ends means they can come and go outside the house to the safety of the catio without risk of being hassled by other pets until they are larger and more confident. Hope this helps someone, for £180 inc postage - its excellent value for money

This will take even experienced DIY folks around 2 to 2.5 hours to build - you ideally need 2 people to do this as well. The pieces fit together well and the instructions are not perfect but generally pretty good. We were missing 2 screws and 2 wood holes had been drilled incorrectly - which isn't too bad. You do need a drill to start off the holes in some parts, like the roof screws if you want to make life easier. We also used manual screwdrivers, so you could reduce the time a bit. The catio is great and very secure. The wood had quite a few chips on arrival and is pretty thin so not sure how durable this will be and for this reason I think it should never have been charged above £150 max with postage, and definitely should have an offer on for people buying two. It does have a chemical smell from the thin coat of grey weatherproofing so it needs a bit of airing. All in all though, a good buy.

Easy to build following instructions. Looks like it was professionally assembled, all the parts are well made and it feels solid. My two cats love it. We can now put them in there when we can't be with them so they can get some fresh air and sun. Sometimes we put it in front of the patio door and leave the little door open for them to walk in and out as they wish. Everyone is relaxed now and I don't feel bad because I can't take them out. Almost wish I would have gotten the double/bigger catio. This one is good for my two cats but I love it so much, I want to get them even more options.

Very happy with this so far, having only had it a couple of weeks can't comment on durability being permanently positioned outside but I think given the same care/maintenance that you would to any other outdoor 'furniture', it looks as if it should be fine. Quite easy to assemble, we are not great at DIY but do own an electric screwdriver which was invaluable, it took us about 2.5 hours. I like the fact that it was not difficult to adapt to suit our needs. The lower 'cat flap' entrance proved fairly easy to adjust in height so that it now aligns with an existing cat flap in the back wall of our house. The top section full door opens towards our garden so we have easy access when outside. We have always had 'outdoor' cats but a few months ago adopted a 9yr old 'indoor' cat. She comes outside with us when we are in the garden, but the addition of this catio which she can access herself in the day through our cat flap is proving a success. We were concerned about the cost outlay for something she may not use, but in the short time we have had it, she can regularly be found in there watching the world go by.
