Chemical Guys, Leather Scent Air Freshener & Odor Neutralizer Spray, 4 oz

I have used a lot of car air fresheners with a new car leather smell for my cars. One of my cars is a 2024 with a natural leather scent the other car is a 2015 with a natural leather scent that is fading. This leather air fresheners makes both cars smell the way they did years ago when I both them new. > I have seen this air fresheners on sell at the new car dealer in the parts department when I go to have my cars serviced. I figure that if the dealer has approved this item and is selling it to its customers it must be okay but selling it at a double price. > As of today 8/11/2026, as I write this review, I am very happy with the price point of $10 for 16 ounces and if the smell last longer than a week before having to reapply it, I will stock up on a few bottles as it is hard to find a leather air fresheners that smells good and last for a while. > This spray is easy to use as I sprayed some of this on my cars cabin air filters behind the glove box and on the carpet under the front seats and I am very happy with the light smell in those locations. > Another selling point is when friends, family or co-worker get into my cars they always comment on how nice the cars smell. Wow! Finally someone got it right! You won’t be disappointed if you buy this. For my wife to approve is something that never happens! Lol. She loves it. We have leather seats in our new 2026 Honda crv and we remember that smell when we bought it. This is it!

I have 2019 truck with leather seats. so I buy the leather scraps on amazon and have them allover the place and it keeps the leather smell really nice for about a month then t loses the smell so I spray this on it and it revives it, 7 years later my truck still smells like new , however the spray by itself would not achieve that, it has a bit of a chemical smell at first not true leather, but it does well spraying the leather

Really really like this stuff. Out of the bottle it does come off a little more chemically and synthetic. Someone mentioned a chlorine smell and I can see that. I like chemical smells so I don’t mind it. BUT… …Give it a few hours and it settles into a very nice new car leather smell! I spray it onto my carpets and a spritz in the air vent. Bonus, I left a sweater in my car for a few days and it came out smelling like an old leather jacket that had been sitting in your barn! I really like the smell and find it to be a pretty authentic “new car” smell. My only complaint is although the smell is strong at first, it wears off in a few days and you’ll have to re-spray often. I don’t have a stinky car so I can’t speak on odor elimination.

I like this for my cars, some people tell me it smells like electrical fire but I personally think it smells like leather. It’s not super overpowering, and the scent lasts awhile. I spray this once a week in my floorboards, and always receive complements on my car smelling good.

This does not smell like leather. Plain and simple. Not even close. Long story short, smells like a "new car smell" Crayola crayon. Long story long.... I received this item earlier today, after reading the various comments people left about getting the most out of the product (one of the biggest complaints is that it doesn't last long), I sprayed some of it onto a rag and gave it a sniff. Foul, stinky chemical smell... I figure this is perhaps the smell of when it is heavily concentrated, and given some time it will smell better. It does. It actually does smell better after time, however it smells absolutely positively nothing like leather. But it does smell like something I have smelled before. The smell lingered on my hand from where I touched the rag for the rest of the day, even after multiple washes with dish soap. All day I would occasionally smell my hand thinking "hmm i know this smell..... its not leather... and its not something I remember being fond of..." A few hours later it hit me, it wasn't leather, because it was New Car Smell. But where had I smelled this specific New Car Smell before? At first I thought maybe it was some type of air freshener I have used in the past. It wasn't. Then perhaps the chemical smell of a marker? No... but I could swear I was getting closer. Then it hit me. Crayola Magic Scent New Car Smell Crayon. Which I remember using when I was a child and even back then (after having been in multiple New Cars (which back then did have a really great new car smell)) smelled absolutely NOTHING like a new car smell. So in the end this "Leather Scent" ends up smelling like a "New Car Smell" crayon from 20 years ago that didn't even smell like a new car then. Stay away. The only thing remotely positive about my experience with this product was the shipping. VERY fast shipping, great job as always amazon!

I use a lot of chemical guys products. However the smell is not as significant as you would think it would be.

All my cars have leather interiors and I really missed the smell of new leather. I thought about buying a new baseball glove from Amazon Prime and putting it under my seat, then returning it every 30 days for a new one :) But, I found Chemical Guys Leather Scent to be the next best thing. I use Zaino "leather in a bottle" leather conditioner, and this product has the same scent. Also, if you have used "Wonder Wafers Leather" you will know exactly what this smells like. It is not a perfect olfactory replication of walking into a saddle shop, or sitting in a new Ferrari Spyder, but it pretty closely replicates the experience for about $10. I like the smell of the product, and I like that I can control how strong the scent is by varying how much I spray (hard to do with the leather conditioner as you have to condition all your leather). This is much more economical than Wonder Wafers. I even use this in my home theater seating area to give my seats a new leather smell. Fools 'em every time. For those that say that this scent doesn't last long, I think the issue is that there sense of smell is getting blown out. Even applied in small amounts, I can smell this product a week later.

My 10 years old car lost the leather smell, this amazing product brought it back to life. Thank you chemical guys 👏

The smell last for 2-3 days after spraying.

Did not like the fragrance. Does not last long.
