I’ve been using this oil for about 5 years now and I truly feel like I’m falling in love with it all over again. It was always a wonderful oil, but I started using it less after finding another oil that also worked well on my locs. While I enjoy the minty scent of the other oil, I now realize that this one moisturizes my hair significantly better. It’s actually one of the most moisturizing oils that I have ever used. Bonus - It does indeed work well on skin, too! I kept seeing reviews saying that it’s also good for skin, but I just started using it on my skin recently after I unexpectedly ran out of shea butter. I will now continue using it on my locs and my skin! Keeps my feet + everything else sooo soft! Wonderful product.

Absorbs quickly and makes my hair soft (type 4a-4b). Good smell. Not overwhelming. Love this oil.

I have long 4c hair that tends to get very dry. I have been using coconut oil for most of my routines. However I find that coconut oil is not enough to maintain moisture and shine...plus coconut oil itself has a very bland smell so it is not my favorite thing to use. I do not like doing my hair everyday so I want products that will give me moisture and shine that will last a day or two. I was given a sample size of this product at a hair salon and decided to give it a try. I first used it as a hot oil treatment before I washed my hair and WOW it made my hair felt really great! So I decided to buy a bottle here on Amazon and I was amazed about how inexpensive such a great product was. I have now been using this product for about a month and it has done some wonders for my dry hair. I spritz my hair with a water/black tea + aloe juice mixture, then I add the African Healing Oyl distributing from roots to ends, then I add Jane Carter Nourish and Shine. This combination has worked really well for my hair and it makes my hair smell great! This product is great for daily hair use and hot oil treatment/pre-shampoo treatment! I highly recommend this.

Never disappoint

The product is 5-star, but, as I now see many other people stating. I didn't get a cap cover. I have used this on my scalp, torso, and face with no problems. It feel wonderful and has a light & pleasant scent that doesn't interfere with my perfumes. It absorbs well on my skin. I can't use too much on my hair & it works best on damp or wet hair. Too much of it will feel heavy when my hair dries. It's good, but I will buy it in stores from now on to ensure that I get a cover for the cap. As is, I have to be very careful not to spill it.

I love this all and have been using it for years. I was so happy to see that Amazon carried it. The smell is great. The oil is a midweight grade not too heavy and not super like.

I love this product. It has helped in the process of growing me and girls hair. It's not too heavy, it soothes my scalp. I mix it with Aloe Vera gel and it makes my daughter hair nice and wavy.

I love this product fir my locks. It smells great and keeps hair well nourished and hydrated. Usually try to buy cheaper in bulk from store, but good to know I can use this in emergencies.
