I'm 5' 7" with 35" waist. do you recommend large or medium?

You should get medium. I'm 36" waist and 5'8", 175 lbs, and medium fits perfectly snug around legs and waist as it should. Bike shorts are meant to fit tight. If you prefer a looser fit get a large, but I would recommend against it.

Hello I’m 6’6 and weigh 245 lbs, but wear a 36 waist. What size would you recommend?

6ft, 240lbs and Large fits great, even despite some girth in the quads. Any bigger and I feel the pad/material underneath would bunch up and add to friction.

Are they comfortable?

In my opinion these are not comfortable. I used them six times on my 50 mile rides. They have good color but not good padding. I use Canari shorts now and for me Canari is money well spent. And made in San Diego.

for the size options, are they US or Asia ?
