Different from actual Tempur
I have a Tempur pillow, and used 2 other Tempur pillows in the past and this is different. Definitely harder and less comfortable.

Good supportive pillow
I read a lot of reviews on the pillow having a smell and it being fake. I received the item in a brown tempur box, in another brown shipping box (outer). The pillow was sealed, so from the looks of it all, I am confident this product is genuine and new. The smell is there, but something bearable, and would it be pretty much covered up when you use a normal pillow case. Now, I slept using it last night, it was generally well and supportive. Only issue is that the width of the pillow is indeed small. I have another tempur bought from another country, and this US version is about a good 15 - 20 cm shorter in width! i would have given it a 5 stars it was a bit longer. Edit - After using this for 3 months, i decided to give it 3 stars instead. The pillow is good, except that it is really too SHORT (width). If you toss to the side from facing up position, I find myself constantly adjusting the pillow because your head will be almost of the pillow. Hence, it is quite 'painful' if you alternate your sleeping position from front to side or vice versa several times a night.
