We absolutely love the Melissa & Doug Poke-A-Dot Books and honestly can’t recommend them enough. I have multiple toddlers in my home and every single one who comes over is immediately drawn to these books — they all want to pop the dots and “read” along. Why we love them: • The pop-and-click dots are incredibly satisfying and keep little hands busy. • They hold toddlers’ attention far longer than regular board books. • The pages are sturdy, colorful, and easy for little ones to turn. • They encourage counting, colors, and early learning while still feeling like play. Real-life use: I have these out daily and they’re always the first books kids grab. Toddlers who normally won’t sit for books will actually stay engaged and focused with these, popping each dot and pointing to the pictures. Perfect gift: These are one of my go-to first birthday gifts because they’re fun, durable, and grow with the child. I’ve never given one without it becoming a favorite. My little one is obsessed with these Poke-A-Dot books. They are her absolute favorites! I will say these books are extremely heavy for the young kids. It’s definitely weighted for like bigger kids. With all that said, we own all of them! Great fun, very entertain and helps them learn!!

This book is an instant favorite in our house! The Poke-a-Dot buttons make reading so much more interactive—my child loves popping them on every page while we sing along to Old MacDonald’s Farm. Great books for the grandchildren three years old and loves it

I’m a speech therapist and use this book in my sessions. It’s helped kids stay engaged and great for modeling language. I absolutely love these Poke-a-Dot book!

My toddler absolutely loves this book! Interactive with bright, fun pictures! The size of the book was bigger than I expected. It's not one that I would take if traveling.

Help your child with the book especially if they are younger as it’s really heavy. My 17 month old enjoyed popping the dots. Hopefully when he’s older, he can use it to learn counting or simply enjoy the story.

This is my daughter’s favourite by far, she got it when she was 15 months and absolutely loves it. She plays with the book by herself and we read and sing together as well as count the animals. I bet this will be one of those very long lasting toys!

Great book!! I’m sure my baby will love it. Some of the poppers don’t work properly but that’s not a big issue as they are mostly fine! Would definitely recommend it.
