I like these a lot! I make kombucha, and the metal lids I have were rusting. These are easy to clean- the seal pops off so you can clean inside it. I haven't experienced twisting them so tight they break, they seem durable to me. They fit my growlers perfectly, and my kombucha turns out carbonated which tells me the seal is working well. I didn't notice a stinky smell like others mentioned, but of course I washed before using them.

I have 1/2 gal glass jugs, and these were a perfect fit, for my sauce, tight seal.

I have repurposed 1 gallon wine jugs to be used as water jugs. The cheapy metal/aluminum? lids that come with the wine are poor quality and I don't trust them. If you store your bottles in an upright position (as you should) they work great for protecting your beverages from the elements, etc.

Caps serve their purpose but could be a little thicker for clumsy people like me who drop things a lot. Overall good product for its intended purpose. It fits and seals with no complications.

I’ve used these caps for months and always noticed an occasional bad plastic taste from my water. I almost never have the bottle in the sun, or any heat. Out of curiously I took off the rubber seal and smelled the cap. The black plastic underneath the soft seal has a smell of burnt plastic so strong I can taste it. The smell was not present upon first using the product. Whatever I’ve been drinking everyday was most likely much worse than the microplastics in bottled water I was avoiding. Do not buy these or any lookalikes, they are likely all made in the same factory.
