Julbo Unisex Shield Sunglasses Mountaineering, hiking, trekking, sailing (pack of 1)

After an injury I have a painfully light sensitive eye. Cat 3 glasses just weren't dark enough. I opted for the cheaper spectron 4 lens as I don't need the lighter shade and they are great. Really good light protection and a very comfy fit. Although they say not suitable for driving I've found them absolutely fine. Not too dark at all.

Really liked the glasses. Bought them for a trip to Mongolia as I knew i'd be in snow and on the steppe (so lots of dust). The side covers were the clincher for me. However, the fitting of the side covers is really low quality and yes, I lost one (making them useless) about 2 days in. Wouldn't recommend at all unless you just want the sunglasses and even then you can get similar for cheaper.

Product arrived full of dust on lenses. No case, just the white cloth pouch. After washing, glasses are still fine. Updating after 5 months of almost daily wear: lenses are quite clear and have a strange yellow light, they get dirty easily and the quality of the vision overall is not great. The strange thing is that I experienced issues with this particular model, other 4 models I have from julbo are much better. Honestly, I prefer similar decathlon sunglasses which costs half the price.

I wondered if someone could get in touch as case has missing teeth on zip. I just need a new case

Best vision protection out there for extreme sun conditions: Sailing, Snow, Desert. Incredibly resistant glass. No glare entry from frame or sides.

Ottimi occhiali julbo

Quickly delivered. Great glasses, both polarized and reactive (chromatic)

very good

I finally received my glasses with the Spectra 4 lenses and have used them for mountain biking, rock climbing, and paddle boarding. The tint is darker than I expected but still worked well enough for biking in a shady forrest. They were excellent for paddling and hiking in the bright sun. Unfortunately, they arrived too late for an alpine climbing / glacier trip, as that it where I really wanted to judge their performance. They are comfortable and light and the removable side shields sit close to my face without rubbing or irritating. I was happy to find that they came with a high-quality adjustable and removable neck strap. My only complaint was the multi-month shipping time, however that can probably be partially blamed on Covid-19 restrictions. It would have been nice if the seller offered expedited shipping options.
