I bought this battery September 2016. Been running it in a 14 XV Crosstrek with pretty powerful multi amp sound system. Battery just died today. FEB. 22 2026. Pretty amazing battery but price has gone up so much I might have to try a cheaper alternative.

Expensive, but an excellent battery: Use in a 2010 Yaris. The last one was good for 8 years and could have been more (left my dome light in my car on in and very cold weather=completely dead). The one I bought from this seller got damaged in shipping, but I did get a full refund. I had to buy another one from a store near me ( needed one asap). And I also have one in a Ford escape 2003.

I've consistently used Optima Yellow Top D35 on my weekend fun car (heavily modified 2002 WRX) that sits during the week and sometimes the battery drains down. It start very strong every time. Most recently I left the car for about 3 weeks just after installing the new battery and without much driving on it, and came back expecting the battery to need a jump, but I turned the ignition and it fired right up. The extra cost is a million times justified in my mind considering my experience with cheap batteries that last about a year or two. I've had Optima Yellows last 8+ years easy and have not seen deterioration in quality in the maybe 15 years I've ran them on my two cars. My "battery for life"
