Great boots, comfort, waterproofing, duration.
I am re orderimg these after buying a pair at Walmart a little over 2 years ago , They have been by FAR the most comfy work boots that I have ever owned in my life, I paint houses, so most other painters opt out for sneakers most of the time, i have been asked a thousand times why i dont just wear sneakers unless im climbing on a roof or pressure washing a house ( that is when most painters swap out sneakers for boots.) I am here to tell you, these things are more cushy than most pairs of sneakers that i have ever owned. So i figured why not have comfort and waterproof every day of the week , can't hurt. The waterproofing is EXCELLENT on these things, when i first got them, i was shocked that i could walk right through puddles as long as it wasn't standing water ankle deep, and stay dry, pressure wash all day, and stay dry, walk through rain, and stay dry. After two years plus, they are still going strong, but the heels are starting to wear away where i put all the weight on the outside of my foot and the water is beginning to get into them on wet days, but still, for them to last this long, performing this well without me ever waterproofing them myself ( i am going to add some mink oil to this pair before i wear them.) and just rocking with the factory waterproofing, says a lot, because i am HARD on boots, and it rains A LOT in florida. I have worn these things painting, clearing trees after hurricanr Micheal, doing demolition work, I have really put them through their trials. I can afford Timberland Pros ( also a brand that i thought was very comfy) or Redwing, but i am coming back to these because i honestly have a hard time imagining a slightly more expensive brand out performing these.
