I’ve been buying this Banana Boat sunscreen with SPF50 for a while and I wish I found it years ago because it makes putting on sunscreen so easy. Been buying it for family members as well! The pump is amazing—I keep one in my bathroom and one in my bedroom so I never forget. It’s a really big bottle so it lasts a long time, and it spreads super easily with no white cast at all, even on my face. The scent is really light and neutral too, which I love. It just melts into your skin, doesn’t feel sticky, and works for everything—face, hands, arms, legs. It’s one of those products you actually end up using every day because it’s so easy and convenient. I keep repurchasing it for a reason! Highly recommend!

I got this sunscreen because it's affordable for the size, and I use a lot of sunscreen. I use a k-beauty sunscreen on my face because it works really well under makeup, but I needed something cheaper and in a larger quantity for the rest of my body because I slather myself with sunscreen every day. It applies really well, doesn't stain my clothes, and doesn't smell bad. I like that it has a pump, it's less messy than using a squeeze bottle and I can gauge how much I'm using more easily.

I'm very pale. VERY pale; not an albino and not even blond, but pale and I burn very quickly. When I bike in warm/hot weather I wear a long-sleeve shirt designed to protect from UV, full-finger gloves, and a very wide 360° brim on my helmet so I need sunscreen on my legs from just above the knee to my ankles and on my face and neck. For a while I have been using a CVS Pharmacy-branded Nutrogena knockoff that comes in a tube. It has a scent which is pleasant and slightly fruity which I could live without but doesn't bother me. It's SPF 55, goes on nicely, feels smooth, soaks into my skin quickly, lasts a long time even when I'm sweating, and it doesn't feel "heavy" so I barely notice it when it's on and doing its job. Unfortunately, it is also relatively expensive; the actual Nutrogena product is even more expensive than the store-branded knockoff. If I were just using it on my face as I do in cooler weather when my legs are fully covered I'd keep using it, but when I have to cover my legs I go through the tube of sunscreen too fast making it very uneconomical to use during the mid-spring through mid-fall. To save some money, I decided to try this Banana Boat with SPF 50. It has no odor. It's not as smooth as the Nutrogena and doesn't spread as easily but it's not a problem in that regard, either. It takes longer to soak into my skin but again, not a big problem. It continues to do its job even during and after a heavy sweat. The one downside is that, even hours after I've put it on, my skin feels like I have lotion on it which is not a feeling I enjoy. At all. It also seems difficult to wash off in the shower, which I guess means it's really waterproof but it doesn't have a good "skin feel" and I don't like being distracted by it for hours at a time. I can deal with it on my legs, I guess, but on my face it bugs the heck out of me. I would have taken off two stars but the price per volume of this stuff is so much better that I took off only one star. For what it's worth, I like the pump bottle more than a squeeze tube. Will I buy this again after my current pump-bottle is empty? I don't know. I'm thinking that, once this bottle is done, I'll buy a tube of Nutrogena just for my face and another bottle of this Banana Boat just for my legs.

Great sunblock. Great protection. Inexpensive and convenient.

This sunscreen is fantastic for daily use and outdoor activities. The SPF 50 protection is highly effective; I’ve used it under intense sunlight and haven't gotten burned at all. What I love the most is that it actually resists sweat and doesn't run into your eyes when you are working out. It doesn't leave an overly greasy feel, and the 8oz size lasts a long time. It is a reliable product that is always in my bag. 100% recommended purchase!

I play golf a lot and the gnats on the course are enough to make you want to give up the game. I've tried No Natz, and various bug sprays with no success. Then the woman in the little shop at the 9th hole told me that Banana boat Sport is what they use for kids at the pool to keep mosquitoes away because of the smell. I tried it and it really works PLUS it is the sunscreen we all need when we are outside for hours in the summer. Try it !!

Using it for couple of years as I have photosensitive skin. Offers good protection from UV rays. You will still get a tan but it prevents sunburns and rashes.

not a massive leaking but quite disgusting when i take it out from the envelope, no seal on the bottle, the rest seams ok, far from expiry date which is great, will just keep it this time

Exactly what you would expect. Cap keeps popping off, but that is only a minor complaint. The product seems to work well.
