I wanted to make my four granddaughters aged 6 years down to 20 months a dress each. Last time I made anything to wear was a dress 50 years ago at secondary school. I doubt I ever wore it! Anyway, my daughter’s wedding next year prompted me to start a little production line in the hope I can make flower girls dresses. I have made three and just about to start the smallest. The pattern is just about going to last, but I’m very happy with my effort. Learning something new each time. The pattern is complicated in areas but I’ve got through it and I chose the easiest style. I will buy another pattern as the style is perfect for our little girls.

My granddaughter wanted a Belle pouffy dress for her birthday party, she is so slim I had to make it for her, first time making any sort of clothing, so really happy how it turned out.
