How is this mask for sleeping on your side?

I am a 75% side / 25% back sleeper. The eye cups on this mask are just too thick for side sleeping. Even though the cups are tapered on the outside edges, they were still too thick for me and pressed into my temples very uncomfortably.

Anyone have any light leak in from the bridge of the nose area?

When I am using it directly on my face I have no light leaks at all. Perfect blackout. When I use it over a CPAP mask I have light leakage at the bridge of the nose because the CPAP mask has a huge nose compared to mine. You really should be able to adjust out any light by positioning the eye cups to match your face. If you completely remove the eye cups from the band and just hold them over your eyes do you have leakage? If that works, then its just a matter of sticking them back on the band without moving them around.

Does the outside fabric bleed color or stain bed linens?

I have white sheets on my bed and I and my son have slept with this mask for months and it has not stained. This is the best sleep mask I've ever used. I love it!

What's the difference between the old version?

Hi there! Good question! We'd be happy to let you know the changes we made on the new Manta Sleep Mask! The new Manta Sleep Mask's eye covers are wrapped in a super-soft modal wood fiber (instead of cotton) and its strap features an upgraded cotton blend. The change in the fabric used resulted to a more durable, breathable mask that's more resistant to bacteria and softer than the original. The new fabric is also stretchier so it tightly contours to every curve of the foam — resulting to a bigger eye space. Also, while the original Manta's eye covers were adjustable along a fixed line, the back of the new Manta's strap is 100% micro fleece so you can attach your eye covers anywhere on your strap for a more customized fit. Good quality

Nice quality materials it blacks out however the eye pads sometimes move slightly and there is some light bleed. I will try to latch it tighter. Wondering if the pads should have been a couple of millimetres wider? But I love the soft fabric and the rest is perfect

Great eye mask

It's actually 100% blackout I'm pretty surprised by that. You have to position it in a certain way on your head but once you do that it is actually 100% blackout.

Ce masque est au delà de mes attentes. J'ai des rideaux qui n'occultent pas très bien la lumière, et j'avais pris l'habitude de dormir avec un masque classique. Mais je le perdais tout le temps pendant la nuit, et il n'occultait pas beaucoup plus que mes rideaux. C'est reglé avec le Manta, il est parfaitement ajustable puisque les coques peuvent être déplacées sur le bandeau et le scratch n'en est pas un donc je j'ai pas peur d'accrocher mes cheveux. L'ensemble est souple et doux. Il tient toute la nuit, et c'est INCROYABLEMENT efficace pour s'endormir. Il suffit que j'ouvre les yeux 2-3 fois sous les coques, mes yeux s'ajustent à l'obscurité totale, rien pour se distraire et hop, je m'endors. C'est plus épais qu'un masque classique, puisque je peux ouvrir les yeux sans que mes paupières ne touchent les coques, mais l'habitude est vite prise. Produit très bien fini, le packaging est top,, la petite housse et les bouchons d'oreilles en cadeau sont un petit plus agréable.
