I want to use this to prevent my dog from messing up my glass door which he slobbers and scratches, will he be able to peel it off?

That would depend! If your dog is slobbering and scratching only when he sees you or other people outside, then no - because he will no longer be able to see outside!!! That is EXACTLY why I put the film on my own windows - the dogs went bonkers anytime they saw anyone outside. Put the film up, no more bonkers doggies :)
