Stanley Adventure Vacuum Bowl, 32 oz

Here in California, supermarkets no longer hand out bags, which I strongly support. For restaurants, I'm going eco-forward with this bowl and when I order take-out, I have them put the food in it. There are raised eyebrows and some snickers in the beginning, but the owners quickly realize that they're saving real money. The only tiny caveat I have is that the lid could be snugger. I actually use another lid I happened to have and it's just fine now. It keeps the food hot (or I suppose, cold) and is zero-waste for a smaller individual footprint.

I love Stanley products but this doesn't exactly retain heat like I expected. They do recommend heating or cooling the bowl beforehand for best results but who has time for that.

This is a fabulous product to use when camping. It keeps food warm and allows you to have warm food at the camping table!! Great product and one I would recommend!

3 stars, because it might be good for small kids. See pics of it next to my small bowl.I never used it because it is way too small, it says 32oz, I'm assuming that's to the very top, but nobody that's going to be using it is gonna fill it to the brim, and then have it slosh over the edge as they walk to where they'll be sitting, to eat it. So the 32oz is more likely a useable 24oz size bowl, and that's definitely way too small.I would have preferred it, if it was 48 to 64 ounces, and just stainless steel - not white camp covering that easily shows flaws.It arrived with a tiny scratch on the covering (not on the stainless steel).

I put hot water in the bowl @120°F and covered. The temp read 111° after 45 minutes. Perfect for my use.

I ordered this based on all of the reviews that said it keeps food hot. I used it once and decided to return it. While preparing my hot lunch, I boiled water then poured the hot water into the bowl to heat it up; then poured out the hot water, immediately put my piping hot lunch into the bowl, put on the lid, and put the bowl into my insulated lunch box. I left the lunch box in my car (warm day in Arizona), and when I came to eat my lunch at noon, it was cold! Didn’t hold heat at all.

Great bowl, prefect for keeping my soup hot.

Mantiene hielos fríos por horas, asi como la nieve. Lo utilizo para guardar hielo frapé sin que se derrita y luego utilizarlo para mezclar con bebidas. Tambien es útil para transportar alimentos que no sean caldosos, ya que la tapa cierra solamente a presión, no con rosca.

Lid does not stay on securely. Returned without hesitation.
