These bamboo dish brushes work really well. The soft bristles are gentle but still effective at cleaning dishes. They scrub well without scratching or damaging surfaces, which is great for cookware and other items you want to be careful with. The bamboo handle feels sturdy and comfortable to hold, and the brush overall feels well made. It’s also a nice eco friendly alternative to plastic brushes.

PROS: Excellent quality. Bristles are VERY strong and resist soaking up water or gunk. They rinse off easily and completely. Wood is solid, a beautiful color, and has not broken down or had the slightest hint of mildew after 2 months of use (and I still have the additional 2 brushes in the cupboard as backup). The dish is perfect size and color and I have had no problem keeping it clean, because the bristles really do not absorb much at all. I give the brush a good rinse and shake before setting it back in the bowl and have never yet encountered scum or mildew in the bowl or on bristles. The dish is not heavy or thick, but it is also not delicate at all. CONS: (these are cons only about this particular style, not the actual quality of this item). The handle is so short, that you can't really use it to get down into a glass or any other thing with a narrow opening. It is also hard to get full leverage for a really strong scrub for a burned-on mess, because most hands are bigger than the "knob" end of the brush, so you can really only fit 2 fingers and thumb around the narrowed grip spot, in order to scrub. You could fit more if you nestle the bulb in your palm while gripping the top of the bristles. But it is not any smaller than the same style you see in stores, and those are a higher price... so if you are used to this style of handle anyway, don't hesitate to order! Love this product and it is holding up very well. Definitely recommend.
