Super cute pet carrier tote, and a good price also! Lightweight and well made. I did stuff it with towels before actually taking my pup out in it to help stretch it (it is stuffed with towels in my photos) the way it is packaged for shipping really flattens the tote causing the walls to cave in a bit on your pet if you put them in it immediately after unboxing it. Also really like the mesh zippered top and mesh panel, still discreet, but makes me feel safer than having my pup in an open bag. Not a lot of options out there offering a zippered top so I was very pleased to find this bag. The only potential negative I will say is that is doesn’t really have a pocket for anything. There is one small pocket on the zipper top, but it really won’t hold much, maybe a small toy. I was able to attach a poop bag keychain so I will be able to easily carry those with me when we are out. Overall very happy with this carrier. My pup is a 2.7lb Pomeranian and it fits him perfectly with some room to grow into.

This bag is cute and seems like it will work well for our pup. The fabric is not canvas (which I assumed from the photo) but a plastic canvas look-alike, which I think is probably good for a dog bag. My only complaint is that I purchased a bag that was “used- good condition” and the description was that it had been “repackaged.” However, when the bag arrived there is damage to the actual bag. The spot is small and won’t affect the function of the bag (at least not for a while) but cosmetically it isn’t very nice. I understand that I paid less for this bag, but I might have chosen to pay more for a new bag if I knew the actual bag would have damage. Otherwise, I would have given this product 5 stars.

I purchased two sling-type carriers and the Pet Gear quality is just so obviously superior that I did not even try putting Sissy in the other one. I am sending it back. I had an extra-large wheeled carrier by Pet Gear that I hauled all over the United States for about 15 years with two kitties inside (my brother-in-law constructed a little shelf which I covered in yoga mat to make it a double-decker carrier) and when Miss Millie died, aged 19 and 5 months, I donated it to the humane society in Indianapolis. I swear that carrier practically looked new. Pet Gear builds stuff to last. Had I known I would end up with cats, or dogs, again, I would have kept it. As it is, I bought a new one in a different color. Back to the sling: Two complaints. I am 5 feet tall and I had to shorten the strap as far as it would go which infringes on some of the padding. It’s hard to describe so I will include a picture. I may cut that padding off later, but I want to use it for a while before I start altering things. Also, there is a ring inside to secure your pet and I wish it was a clip instead, but that’s an easy fix. Sissy is a long, muscular cat, but there is plenty of room to place a nice padded bathmat spayed with pheromones in the bag with her. The bag already has a really nice silky quilted lining and removable, washable pad. Even with that, an extra pad, and the cat, the bag is small enough to not be burdensome and unwieldy, which is what I was looking for. Really well designed and great quality construction.

It's flimsy

I ordered this bag for my 7 pound miniature poodle. It’s a little to small for him and he doesn’t seem comfortable in it. I love the bag because it looks like a purse and would be very discrete to carry him around in. Unfortunately, I will be sending it back as it’s to small for him. I think it would be a great product for a smaller dog.

I love this bag!! It’s so perfect for my miniature dachshund puppy, he also loves it! He’s never been a fan of bags with the head hole because he just wants to jump out every time he’s in it. The mesh allows him to see what’s going on but feel safe and contained. The straps also stay sturdy on my arm while I’m carrying him so I don’t have to continuously hike it up. My only fear is he’s going to grow out of it, I love it so much!

Good for my mini shih tzu! She can fit inside with some room to spare! She is Able to see out and the bag is very breathable! We use this all the time and it is very sturdy and easily washable…only problem I have is it has a very stubborn difficult (but not impossible) to zip zipper but we usually leave the top open anyways also the sides don’t stand up so the bag does tend to collapse around our shih tzu but she doesn’t seem to mind

This bag is not advisable for the warmer months since your precious pup or cat would overheat. Not enough ventilation. The description also says “some airline approved” this is not true with the US Carriers & I doubt that International Carriers would allow your pup/cat in this bag.
