Is this seed coated with anything?

These Penkoted grass seeds carry a distinctive green coating created by Pennington Seed. Applied as a quick-drying green liquid, supposedly Penkote seals grass seeds and protects them against fungal disease that attacks germinating seeds and young seedlings. The coating is about 50% of the weight of the bag.

What is the expiration date on this bag of seed?

can't tell ya, I just spread it, certainly a couple of seasons....don't get a big bag if ya can't use it

I have two scotts spreaders, one hand held (unknownnam) and one edge guard dlx. there is no reference to either of my spreaders for spread rate? why?

don't know..use your hand or start lightest and work the setting up....

Please answer. I planted this seed and its growing a bright light green color and my sod fescue is a dark green. Will it darken too?

Yes it will get darker. The light green is the fresh just sprouted grass but after a couple of cut it will be darker green
