Love this product! It adds a lot of body to my hair. I will buy it again for sure.

I don’t write too many reviews but felt the need to share this one. This spray is like the holy grail for thin & flat hair! I applied it on towel dried hair and let it air dry. It gave my hair so much volume & texture that no other product has ever done, and I have tried many. I tried it at night and still woke up with volume in my hair. It actually does what it’s indented to do! Try it, you won’t regret it!

I purchased the Rusk thickening spray again last month (Dec. 2025) and it does puff up my thin hair after blow-drying. Unfortunately, this time it did not work; the orange top would not spray. I tried to request another one, but did not receive acknowledgement. So I had to dribble the liquid onto the bristles of my hairbrush before applying. Not the desired effect I hoped for! Since I was leaving for Az, and could not quickly buy it locally, I brought it with me, and then tossed it upon my return.

RE: RUSK Designer Collection Thick Body and Texture Amplifier 6 oz I wouldn't say this offers exceptional volume. It's not a substitute for your favorite setting or blow-drying gel. However, it does add some texture whether I'm blow-drying my fine, limp shoulder-length hair or setting my hair in rollers. At the current price point, I'm not sure it's value for money. And, even though the 6 oz bottle is small-ish, I find it difficult to grip in one hand whilst pressing down on the sprayer, especially if my hands are wet. I usually have to turn off and set down my hair dryer so I can have both hands free - one to hold the bottle and one to push down on the sprayer. I'd much prefer a trigger spray and if I can't find one to fit this bottle, it will probably be enough to stop me from purchasing this product again. The fragrance is not exceptional but not objectionable either. It's not one of those products I'd purchase again because I love the fragrance.

This product has much so much with providing volume to my fine hair. Very pleased that I purchased it!
