Designer Collection Thick Body and Texture Amplifier, Gives Hair Incredible Body, Creates Texture and Volume, Anyone with Fine, Limp, Lazy Hair

RUSK's Thick Body and Texture Amplifier is a great product for fine hair -- which I have in addition to somewhat thinning hair. I am 74 (wish I wasn't) but anyway, this is the best thickener I have found that works. That doesn't make my hair dry, Or too soft. Or too anything. Except thicker. I also use a little bit of other products, but not for thickening. I've always had to use more than one product because of my extremely fine, soft hair, so that I still have to is no deal-breaker. It is a very good product. I highly recommend RUSK's Thick Body and Texture Amplifier.

I’m absolutely loving the Rusk Root Lifter! If you struggle with flat or limp hair, this product is a total game-changer. I use it right at the roots on damp hair, and the lift and volume it gives is amazing. It adds noticeable body without leaving any sticky residue or stiffness. One of the best parts is how lightweight it feels—you get volume without sacrificing softness or movement. My hair still looks and feels natural, just fuller and more lively. Plus, the product smells great and doesn’t weigh my hair down throughout the day. It’s especially helpful for fine or thin hair, but I think it would work well on most hair types. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a good while. Highly recommend if you're looking to give your roots a serious boost!

I really like the RUSK Designer Collection Thick Body & Texture Amplifier Spray — especially on wash day. When I apply it before blow drying, it gives my long, thick hair a noticeable boost in volume, texture, and overall “oomph” without feeling heavy at first. My hair looks great, feels stronger, and definitely has more body. But… by the end of the next day, my hair gets oily, much faster than it normally would. Since I really don’t like washing my hair every day (it’s long and thick, so it’s a process!), this has been a little frustrating. To be fair, I might be using too much product. It’s easy to be heavy-handed with sprays like this when you want that extra lift. I’m going to keep experimenting with smaller amounts to see if I can find the sweet spot — because I do like the results on day one, and I can see myself loving this product if I can reduce that next‑day oiliness. Overall: Great texture and volume.

This works so well. Just spray a little in your damp hair. Full hair when you blow dry. This is my 4th bottle. Wouldn’t be without it.

This was delivered quickly. I've only used it one time, but really like it. It gave my hair more body and smells nice too.

RE: RUSK Designer Collection Thick Body and Texture Amplifier 6 oz I wouldn't say this offers exceptional volume. It's not a substitute for your favorite setting or blow-drying gel. However, it does add some texture whether I'm blow-drying my fine, limp shoulder-length hair or setting my hair in rollers. At the current price point, I'm not sure it's value for money. And, even though the 6 oz bottle is small-ish, I find it difficult to grip in one hand whilst pressing down on the sprayer, especially if my hands are wet. I usually have to turn off and set down my hair dryer so I can have both hands free - one to hold the bottle and one to push down on the sprayer. I'd much prefer a trigger spray and if I can't find one to fit this bottle, it will probably be enough to stop me from purchasing this product again. The fragrance is not exceptional but not objectionable either. It's not one of those products I'd purchase again because I love the fragrance.

After my treatment, my hair became very thin and sparse. I tried so many gels, mousses, and sprays to add volume to my short hair, but nothing really worked. This product truly made a difference for me. I just apply it to the roots, blow dry, and that’s it — no extra styling products needed. The volume lasts all day without hairspray. I spend most of my workday outdoors, and even a light breeze actually gives my hair more lift instead of ruining the style. What I love most is that my hair still looks natural. It doesn’t stick together in the rain, it’s easy to brush through, and humidity doesn’t affect it. My hair stays full and voluminous the entire day. This spray has been a real game changer for me!

I am not a registered barber or Hair Dresser but I have done my Wife's hair for many years. I have cut, colored, styled combed out etc. for many years. We are now seniors It saves us a lot of money when I am able to do this especially when I am able to get a product that works best for her.
