I have put up with a lighted gray keyboard with a white QWERTY for 5 years. It was extremely difficult to read. I love this new keyboard cover with white on black keys. It fits splendidly and I like the feel of the silicone and it is easy to see day or night. Bonus feature is it keeps crumbs and dust off the keys and protects from spills. A great product for the cost.

It has a nice matte feel to it and it makes typing that much more comfortable. The colour is just like it is in the pictures so that's great. And it's slim so my laptop can close with it on and the screen is ok. It definitely would protect my keyboard keys from getting debris stuck under it or liquid spilling on it. The backlight doesn't shine through the letters but there is a kind of halo surrounding the keys that appears better in lowlight surroundings. I would definitely recommend as it is good for the price

This purple-shaded keyboard skin doesn't quite fit the keyboard of my ASUS Vivobook. The keys are the right ones but the scale is wrong. So it is a little too deep from top to bottom; the horizontal spaces between rows are a little larger than they should be. I will use it as a protective cover when I'm not typing, but difficult to type accurately with the skin on top.

It was off by one key. Everything else fit perfectly but it was off by the length of one key in the middle

Like most people, the downside of these type of computers is the same color keyboard with poorly contrasting lettering and no back lighting. Don't get me wrong the bang for the buck on these computers is unmatched. I wanted to get a cover skin which would allow me to see the keys in almost any lighting. The problem is the 17.3 inch keyboard skin is 5 times more than the one for the 15 inch (this one). Then I noticed that a majority of the keyboard looked identical between the two models. When you got to the right hand side, eight keys didn't match up. Sooo, I purchased this cover and cut the skin between the normal keyboard and the keypad, put the normal key cover on and then cut the keypad keys out and cut up a few others to cover them. I'm left with eight keys uncovered and a non-unified skin. How does it work? Great. Downsides? The tactile feels of the skin isn't as pleasant as the plastic feel. However, I CAN SEE THE KEYS now. AND it was cheap that's why I gave it five stars. What's not to like?

I needed to cover for my laptop keyboard because my toddler pulled off one of the buttons and I can’t find it. This conceals the flaw perfectly and it stays in place very well.

Can not identify keys when keyboard backlight is on so would have to remove cover when in dark room. Would help with water exposure but blocking the light from my keys might be a deal breaker for me. By the way, it fits my keyboard perfectly.

I like my Asus VivoBook X512DA very much - however, a light shade of silver/grey-colored letters on grey/silver keys (that are not backlit) makes the keys extremely hard to see unless the lighting is exactly right. I've had one or two daydreams wherein the individual who approved that specific character/key/keyboard color scheme combination is forced to use that scheme on their own keyboard(s) (personal & professional; desktop, laptop, & docking station; and replicated on their mobile devices) when working on critical deliverables (both professionally and personally) with imminent deadlines. Just sayin.' But I digress...This inexpensive, easily applied, and effective cover makes using my VivoBook much more enjoyable by making the keys amazingly easy to read, with the bonus of protecting the keys and keyboard.

Passt 0,0. Rutscht beim Tippen hin und her. Passform überhaupt nicht vorhanden. Hatte sie mir eigentlich nur bestellt, weil die Tasten beim Notebook so hell sind und man die Zahlen und Buchstaben tagsüber schlecht sehen kann. Wollte gerne schwarze Tasten haben. Aber da lasse ich es lieber so wie es ist und komme 1000x besser klar. Habe mein Geld zurück bekommen. Lohnt sich wirklich nicht zu kaufen.

Although the description says this is compatible with the Asus VivoBook 15, it's not. If I place the skin on the space bar, all the other letters are off-centre, to the point that in some instances they're overhanging their respective keys by some margin. If it actually fit my keyboard, I'd be delighted with it, as it makes it possible for me to see all my keys clearly and my fingers don't keep sliding off the keys introducing a variety of typos. Oh, and there's no marking for the £ sign on this skin, so it's very obviously not intended for UK keyboards. Which wouldn't have been a deal-breaker, but the fact it doesn't come close to fitting my keyboard is.
