Received a DEFECTIVE BATTERY FOR ACER
Battery came DOA and I had to install it to find out which was time consuming. SELLER SHOULD TEST THE BATTERY BEFORE SENDING IT! Update, it works and holds a charge for about 45 min .

Mine WAS Fine
Looks from the reviews as though you are taking a bit of a chance when you buy one of these. Gee, poor quality control with a product you get from Amazon. Hard to believe, eh? But, mine brought my Acer Predator back from the grave. Who knew you couldn't update a laptop with a dead battery, even if it's plugged in? I didn't. Waited a few weeks before posting this review, as some say it works for a little while, then dies. So far, mine's going strong. Good luck with yours. UPDATE: After a year, this battery died and would not take a charge. Dead loss.

Died after four months
Battery lasted almost exactly four months before it died.

It seems very good at first. However, it has been used for less than a month, so even if fully charged, the usage time is less than 30 minutes.
