Great purchase
Took me a while to get used to the way these operated (the lock feature) but after many uses I love them. The tip comes together perfectly and grabs what you need and the tongs themselves hold what is picked up without falling out of the sides. These are sturdy enough to assisted in lifting a medium to large roast of a large bird.

There are so many features I love about these. We used to own a set of tongs with silicone around the grip part. So grabbing slippery items would just slip out from the silicone grippers. The silicone grippers also kept getting water underneath them and just started looking terrible and disgusting. However, THIS PAIR, is excellent for your kitchen needs! The tongs are all metal so they grab onto slippery things very easily. I also like their simply lock feature which my old pair had too. There is no place for water to get trapped when cleaning them such as the silicone ones. They are just amazing. Throw out any silicone tongs you may have, and get these! Very worth your money.
