real-deal 3M Scotchlite, bright, easy to use
this seems to be the real thing: when you shine a light from near your eyes, even in the middle of the day, towards the retro-reflective 3M Scotchlite, it glows almost as bright as shining the light into your eyes. thin and easy to use. adds a lot of visibility without changing the look of your bike much. 5 stars.

bright
These are the best. I've purchased 5x and counting. Easy to install insanely high brightness/cost

Great and long lasting
I had these things for a few years during college. I only ever had one fall off, and I could hear it hit the asphalt, so I was able to get it back. They’re very reflective and honestly look really cool with my black and silver color scheme. They look way better than the other wheel reflectors, that’s for sure. Also, through mud and rain and sun and hot and cold, they still reflect great.

Not the brightest reflectors
I just received these spoke reflectors today. Installation was quick and easy. My mountain bike wheels have 32 spokes so I placed one one every other spoke for 16 on each wheel. They clipped onto my spokes firmly and seem to have plenty of friction to stay put. I placed all of the reflectors uniformly at the outer edge of the wheel figuring that would result in the largest circle of light. Do they work? Yes, much better than the OEM plastic reflectors the bike manufacturer shipped with my bike. But they aren't as bright as I was expecting based on the marketing photos in the product listing. I had my car in the driveway with the lights on and had a friend ride the bike back and forth in the street, about 100 feet away. The reflectors formed a nice pattern and were visible but not in a way that would jump out at you even from 100 feet. Also, my street has no street lights. The street was completely dark except for the headlights from my car. I'm a little disappointed as I have some stickers I bought for my motorcycle helmet that are amazingly bright. These reflectors are maybe 1/4 as bright as the tape on my helmet. But I guess ya gotta remember that we're dealing with a passive reflector, not a light source. What these lack in brightness they somewhat make up for with motion. A moving object draws more attention than a fixed light. For 10 bucks, I can't complain. They do work to some extent and they are almost invisible in daylight. Because they are round, you get at least some reflected light in a full 360 degree circle. They are also super lightweight and don't affect wheel balance at all. Also with the motion, I have a 26" diameter circle of moving light. That beats those OEM reflectors that had maybe 3 square inches of surface area. And unlike my LED headlight and tail light, these will never require batteries or charging, they are an "always on" solution. So, if either or both of the LED lights fail, at least I'll have some enhanced visibility. I may even buy another package and try reflectors on all 32 spokes. That should double reflected light from a 90 degree angle and increase visibility even for cars overtaking me from behind. My only gripe is that I've seen and used reflective material with brighter reflective properties. But that was in a flat vinyl decal for a motorcycle helmet.

Simple, passive security for riding at night
These are really effective for visibility when there are car headlights nearby. They don't glow on their own, but they really help improve your visibility if you're riding in the dark anywhere near cars. While they're not a replacement for a taillight on your bike, I really like that you can keep these on your spokes all the time and they'll always be there as a secondary passive safety tool. You put them on once and don't need to think about it anymore. They also look pretty cool! Because they reflect really well, you can easily spread one pack between two bikes. You don't need to add a spoke reflector to every spoke and you can make some pretty cool patterns too. We had no problem spreading the wealth between the four wheels of our two bikes and both of our bikes light up really well at night. It's a great "set it and forget it" way to stay a little bit safer on the roads at night!

HIGHLY recommend for bikes / Strollers
This item works SO well and is VERY easy to install. It is a must have for bikers at night and or jogging strollers. They are very low profile so don't make your bike look "ugly" and the 360 degree reflection provides visibility to BOTH sides of the spokes. You can easily snap them on and off bikes you're riding so you really only need one pack to spread between like 4 bikes. We used these on 4 different brand bikes, electric and normal, and these reflectors fit ALL of them no problem. Highly highly recommend for anyone biking at night!! Price is SO worth it. I can't speak to durability yet, I've only had them ~3 months.

These are AMAZING! A must-have for any kids bike (or adult bike)
I've been cycling heavily for 20 years, and these are amongst my favorite cycling products! These spoke reflectors are just as bright as the big ugly plastic reflectors that come stock on most bikes, but they're virtually invisible during the day, and are much lighter (which is a good thing when it comes to rotational mass). Easy to install, inexpensive, and they work great. I've convinced many friends to use these reflectors! I've had a couple fall off over years of mountain biking and the like, but they're inexpensive, and I just snap another one on if I notice one's missing. I usually do 3-4 spokes per wheel.

These are fantastic
These little rods are a game changer. Full reflection all around to the inside of the rims. Awesome light effect when moving. I did not realize how thin my rear spokes are so I added a small strip of electric tape on the spokes so these rods will grip and stay in place. Incredibly good.
