I wanted to try felting some baby birds for a little display nest I have on a tiered tray. Wasn’t sure if I’d want to do more after then it’s so I purchased this set with lots of colors. The baby birds turned out beautifully and I’ve received lots of complements on them. I’m not sure how people notice them because they’re quite small. Excited to try my hand at felting something else and have an array of colors no matter what I decide to do.

Colors were dull. No basic black or white. Very disappointed.

Wow do I love this color selection, they are spectacular with a good variety. Each piece came in its own small ziplock bag so they are easily separated and simple to store. They are very soft and good quality wool. We use these for felting crafts with kids. They are perfect for use with cookie cutters and you can make all kinds of shapes. I recommend this selection.

This pack had a ton of choices to use to make all the needle felted designs on my felted soaps. There was plenty of each color for what I needed, and the felt was very soft. They came out great! This was my first time doing the needle felting so I was not sure how it would go, but it worked well, and it was nice to have all the colors to pick from.

I am new to needle felting and wool buying, so maybe this is normal... Seems to me the colors seemed to be mostly neutral or muted shades. There were 2 bright blues, 1 bright pink, 1 bright yellow, and 1 bright orangy-red. No true red. There were several shades each of green, grey, brown, cream, and lavender. However, the price was right and the wool seems fine for what I am doing with it. I am OK with the small amounts because I am only doing small projects right now. I do wish the seller would indicate the source of their wool. I feel vaguely guilty buying it without knowing whether or not it is responsibly sourced. I am assuming not, and if I decide to continue with this hobby I will probably buy a different brand that is. Mulesing is an awful practice!
