I use this as eye makeup remover and LOVE it! I think it’s improved the skin around my eyes and helped my eyelashes grow. It’s gentle, but very effective at removing mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow. It leaves your skin around your eyes feeling moisturized. It’s scentless and is an oil so you don’t deal with any sticky texture. I’ve also used it on my face when it’s been dry and it’s been nourishing and doesn’t contain pore cloggers. It gives me a dewy glow when I put it on my skin overnight.

Like a previous reviewer, I started looking into Abyssinian oil as a substitute for Rejuvenique Oil by Monat. My stylist introduced me to Monat Rejuvenique. She sells it, but also uses it when working on her client's hair. She also puts the Rejuvenique oil into her color before applying it to hair and then uses it to style hair after coloring. I have never had my hair feel so soft and amazing after being highlighted and it stayed that way until I washed it. I wasn't that thrilled with the price though and I didn't want to get roped into the whole mlm thing, so I started doing some research online and found that one of the main ingredients for Rejuvenique is Abyssinian oil. I found other ladies that were using this instead of the Rejuvenique and said they had just as great of results, so decided to try it. The Abyssinian oil works AMAZING, it makes my hair feel just as wonderful as the Rejuvenique, but at a fraction of the price. I already used argan oil in my hair but this made it even softer and I thought worked 10 times better. It works great as a heat protectant when styling hair and does a fantastic job of moisturizing hair. I have thick, wavy hair and have used several different oils in the past, but this is now truly my holy grail hair care product!! It makes my hair look and feel unbelievably healthy and definitely makes it more manageable. The seller had it packaged very nicely and I will be ordering from them again in the future!

This product has completely transformed my hair. It makes my hair so smooth and silky — I honestly can’t stop touching it! I love applying it to my ends daily, and once a week I do a full oil treatment. The results have been unreal. My hair feels healthier, looks shinier, and the amount of new growth and baby hairs I’m seeing is incredible. Definitely a must-have in my hair care routine!

This oil is AMAZING. I cannot express how great it is. My hair has grown so much and this makes it so shiny. I usually use it in my scalp/on my ends 30 minutes before I shower because it does tend to get oily. Since it is pretty sticky, I will use a small pea amount after on wet hair, but use an extremely small amount. Since you use such a small amount I would say it’s definitely worth the money.

You hear a lot about Argan oil these days—it’s being added to so many hair and cosmetic products. But, if you have a nut allergy or are sensitive to nut oils or synthetic Vitamin E, you need to avoid Argan oil. Instead—try Abyssinian oil. It is a superior product and I’m shocked that it hasn’t gained in popularity. If you have fine hair, heavy oils can completely weigh down your hair, thinning it in appearance and causing it not to hold curls or other styles. Abysssian oil won’t completely weigh down your hair (though it does a tad) and it can even fatten individual hair strands as it absorbs better into the hair. As other reviewers have noted, it doesn’t create a greasy feel. You can run your hands through your hair and you will only detect a very scant amount of oil residue. It’s also highly conditioning. If you have very damaged or porous hair, it will improve the condition of your hair over time, reducing or eliminating tangles and minimizing split ends. I sincerely believe it’s much, much better than coconut oil is for hair (and I love coconut oil).
