AVAPOW 6000A Car Battery Jump Starter Portable

I have used it a few times to jump start a vehicle. It worked flawlessly. The compact size makes it easy to store. I was impressed that it seemed to hold a full charge after weeks of below freezing weather. The extra ports, attachments, and built in light add to the value. The zipper on the carrying case unfortunately did not last long but this is a minor issue in my opinion.

UPDATE: 01-02-25: Replacement unit was put to the test 3x over. Started a nearly completely dead, subfreezing 6.2L without hesitation, twice in the same day. Also jumped my 6.5 Turbo Diesel twin battery without a hiccup (still on a single charge). My Toyota 3.0L V6's battery decided it wanted to fail too and was only holding a few volts, but the AVAPOW 6000 didn't even blink, provided full power and it cranked over almost immediately after hook-up. I'd feel comfortable recommending this to anyone with a potential need to jump larger diesels and gassers, and pretty much anything 10L and lower. this is for 12V applications, not 24V, so keep that in mind when purchasing. It's been working like a champ and still cranking our vehicles over, even on single-digit Fahrenheit freezing days. If you have electrical issues beyond alternator/battery, use caution to avoid further damaging your vehicle/electricals.UPDATE: 12-19-24: AVAPOW's customer service reached out to me several times and has been outstanding. The replacement units have been working exactly as advertised and AVAPOW has been very supportive and accommodating. It appears that my first unit may very well have just been defective, which happens with any mass-produced item. The subsequent jump starters (A68-6000A models) have both worked well and without issue. I was also offered an extended warranty from AVAPOW as a sign of good faith and customer support commitment. At this point, I feel inclined to recommend the AVAPOW A68/6000A jump starter and power supply. Read the manufacturer's directions, and test the unit and charge it for a minimum of 6 hours/until fully charged upon receipt then put it through it's paces (in accordance with the manufacturer directions, because these do have a "duty cycle" of use/cool-down periods for repeated starting attempts. Duly earned 4 stars for excellent customer service and fully operational replacement units.UPDATE: 12-2-2024: AVAPOW's customer service has been great. I really wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and try a second unit. By comparison to the first unit I bought, the 2nd unit has worked fine. Took a charge without issue from a Samsung USB-C quick charger, and handled starting a pretty low (9 VDC approx.) single battery 6.2L V8 on a cold night (sub-freezing). The second AVAPOW 6000 is currently working as advertised and no issues so far. We'll see how it does in it's next real-world scenario, but so far, so good. Gained a star for customer service and reliable replacement unit. If the next real-world test goes well (and it works), It'll have earned a 4th star. Boost function works, please note that this unit does have limitations and recommended usage guidance, so be sure to read the manual.

These are great jump starters. I use them everyday on the farm. They will boost off almost anything you have. In the most dire situations, you can back this unit up with booster cables and jump a completely dead semi truck. For the price, these are unbeatable. I have 4 of these units and had a small issue with one of them, while under warranty, and Jolene at customer care took great care of me and replaced the unit immediately.

The cabling is proprietary, short, and clumsy, but the power is fantastic! It immediately starts everything dead that I connect it to! It serves as a good portable 12v or USB power source as well. It's an emergency phone charger with a huge reserve of power. It's a long lasting emergency flashlight. It's very useful!

I've had mine since December 2023. I've only had to use it like 3 or 4 times. I went to go and use it today, first time in a year, and it started beeping at me saying it had a low charge, even though I had just pulled it off the charger. The flashlight wouldnt even turn on. I put it back on the charger and the blue bars said it was 3-4 bars. It turns out it was likely because I left it on the charger all the time, which is a no no with Lithium batteries. hours later I went and tried it out, and everything was working fine. user error, not product error.

This portable jump starter worked great. I’ve used it multiple times, and it starts my vehicle quickly every time with no issues. It’s easy to use, holds a charge well, and gives me peace of mind knowing I have it when I need it. Overall, a reliable tool that’s definitely worth having.

-This was the first Jump Starter that I bought. AVAPOW's product support has been excellent! I loaned my AVAPOW Jump Starter to a (very irresponsible) friend who lost all it's accessories and it's case. When I contacted AVAPOW they offered to replace ALL the missing parts for free! What a surprise! I had only contacted them to purchase the lost parts! This is not the lowest priced Jump Starter out there, so I did my research and took my time to buy it. This product has worked flawlessly since I purchased it. I've tried cheaper ones and have been disappointed every time. GET THIS ONE!

This has been a great product so far, I own my automotive repair business and use these things all the time, definitely worth the price, easy to use, charges quick
