Good quality metal
I love my 8x8 inch metal magnetic board. It has a nice sturdy curved bottom and the 2 magnets that comes with it are strong. I bought this to display some of my 3x3 magnetic canvas boards that I had stencil painted on. Works great for my needs.

I use this for digital timers for my bakery. Works great! Keeps the timers ( 4 of them) easily accessible and viewable. Comes with 2 magnets that would probably work great for recipe cards or the like. Highly recommend.
