Ken has a knack for clarity
I bought the Ken Whiting "Playboater's Handbook II" book together with his "Playboating with Ken Whiting" video. Individually, each contains excellent explanations and visual illustrations. Together they constitute the clearest and most comprehensive whitewater kayak control training material I have found.

Ken really spends time breaking down each move etc. It's the type of DVD you can watch over and over again.

Same video as in 2003, just re-released
I'm a big fan of Ken Whiting's past videos. I got a copy of "Playboating with Ken Whiting", released in 2003, years ago and have watched it many, many times. I was pretty stoked when I saw that he was releasing a new playboating video. Not so. The "new" video is identical to the 2003 video. They are one and the same. If you have the old video, you have the new one. Don't get me wrong - if you don't have either version and you are a playboater - buy it, it's a great to learn from. Just know that it's not different than the original.
