Jawz for Paws Dog Boots, Medium

My dog hates boots. He hates the PAWZ boots slightly less, but they're such a pain to put on. I have to fight him every time we go outside, and it takes minutes of me wrestling him and him biting my hands. It's torture for both me and him. I figured I'd try this contraption because it was $12 and if it worked, our experience could be marginally better, which would make a difference regardless. Just make sure you get the right size for the PAWZ you use. The loop part has to be big enough for your dog's paw to go in through it. I read other reviews that said that the device had sharp edges, and mine came with some sharp edges, but nothing a nail file couldn't fix. This turned the 10 minute task into maybe 2 minutes. My dog is happy because it I don't catch his dew claws, I'm happy because I have all my fingers. Totally worth it.

Whoever invented this is my hero. Nothing is more difficult than getting rubber booties on a dog that doesn't like to have their feet touched, but this makes it so much easier and faster. Winters are a hundred times less hellish thanks to this device, and I'm pretty sure the dog agrees. If your dog wears Pawz booties, get this! It takes a couple of times to get the hang of putting the booties on it, but once you get the hang of it, life gets exponentially easier.

It took a couple of days to get smooth using this but my time to put on one boot dropped from 5 minutes to less than 10 seconds. I have been using it for about 6 weeks and it still works great and has not torn the boot. NOTE: Be sure to confirm the correct size JAWZ for your PAWZ. The Medium JAWZ is for Small or Medium PAWZ. Anything smaller, order the Small JAWZ. Anything larger, order the Large JAWZ. Before placing your order mouse over the picture. The cardboard band holding the JAWZ in place shows what size PAWZ it is for.

I really like this tool ,it makes life easier

I have tried so many boots for my dog and no matter how expensive they were, they ended up falling off of his feet so were useless. I thought I'd give the rubber booties a try and saw that they had this gadget to help put them on his feet. Omg it works perfectly!! I love the booties and I love this gadget! Highly recommend.

Works great. We use the medium Jawz for the blue and purple size boots.

Definitely recommend Jawz if you use Pawz often. It makes the process faster, simpler, and more comfortable for the dog. It also ensures the booties are applied on the dogs foot properly and optimally. Really glad I got these, as I use Pawz everyday with my dog and these make it so much easier and faster to apply the booties.

This tool is super awesome to get the rubber booties on easier. I'm so glad that I bought it. My dogs wear the size small booties, but their paw sizes work with the size M jawz. The size S will only work for tiny paws. So if you have a medium size dog, definitely buy the M, even if they're wearing size S booties.

Sharp points on the end of the Jaws where you stretch the boot balloons to hold them means that the boot plastic is getting stressed and will fail much faster than if you just use your fingers. Incredibly stupid design. Dog and wife both loathe it.

The medium jawz to put on the small boots - the size difference between the jawz is so vast - the small is like a teaspoon and will NOT put on small boots - I put on extra small and small boots with the medium jawz. You can't use the balloon shoes without this, how else can you squeeze the dogs foot in without damaging them or a joint?? But they lose a star for the ridiculous size differences

They are great for one handed operation. It’s tough getting boots on my dog on the trail by myself so this tool was very welcome. You have to get the boots installed evenly on the tool or they won’t be centred properly and will be difficult to get on. If the hole into the boot is not right in the centre the dogs nails tend to get caught and installation is very hard. I find that I have to keep a boot installed on the tool ready to go in my pocket because it’s tough to do in the dark on the trail. Overall it’s a great tool, much easier to get a missing boot back on than without it. The reason I only gave four stars was I think it could open just a bit wider.

I have to use boots for my dog when competing in Scent detection indoors. The Pawz rubber boots work great but are a collosol pain to put on. This neat little tool makes it easy to put them on in seconds. It takes a bit of practice to put the boots onto the Jawz but practice a few times & it will go smoothly & quickly when you need them.

I like this device. It would probably work best for larger size pawz. My dog wears a size M for pawz boots and I bought the according size but it ripped right through a brand new pair of pawz from stretching.
