Do these bulbs last as long as name brands, like GE or Sylvania?

Mine lasted less than 4mo at 14hr/day usage... the original bulb that came with the fixture lasted 3yrs - disappointing - at least it was a double pack so I have another to use while I look for something better

These bulbs require regular household AC voltage (120 volts). They have two prongs on each end, which fit into a fluorescent fixture; you press the prongs into the opening, then axially rotate the bulb 90 degrees to make contact and lock them in place.

From tip to tip (Cooper prongs) my original bulbs measure 11/7/8, will this 12 inch replacement work or do I only measure the bulb which is 113/8

I would not think so. The 18 and the 24 are most likely to do with the length of the bulb. I ordered for the 12" bulbs. They fit perfect.
