Wanted a pair of Migraine glasses, but they run $200-300 and as I had never tried any, I was unwilling to pay so much for something I didn't yet know if it would help. I did a search for migraine glasses on Amazon and this item came up. For the price, it was great way to try it out. They have been outstanding! PROS: Clearly reduce the # of migraines I get. Reduce existing migraines by about 2 levels Certified safety glasses allow use in jobs that don't allow glasses Wrap around sunglasses style helps with light from the side. CONS: Everyone thinks I'm wearing sunglasses. They don't help block the sun really. They aren't really sunglasses. Now it's fine with me that I'm still squinting in the sun with these on, because they help so much indoors. I do drive with them on in the day, but think they need to be darker for that. Inside I wear them even at work and panic if I should ever forget them, they help so much. The rose color cuts out some bands of blue light that cause migraines. If I'm surrounded by too many florescent lights, I sometimes feel the glasses aren't strong enough though, but for the price.... Lastly I can honestly say I now really understand the saying about "people who go through life in rose colored glasses". Even people that do not get Migraines will enjoy these. They make the world look like a new, vivid wonderland when you first start wearing them. I love them. Don't know that I will ever buy real migraine glasses. I Expect I will just another pair of these when the time comes.

My hobby is blacksmithing and about a year ago I was informed by an instructor about the dangers of the heat sources used by smiths and the damage it can do to the eyes. Specifically infrared radiation. A few expensive options for protection were given with the throwaway suggestion being a pair of green welding/torch glasses in shade 3. The only complaint said at the time is getting used to everything being green. Since I needed something, and I knew I was going to be doing a lot of forge welding I went with these and I am happy I did. First, everything green? Kinda, while everything has a green hue, I got used to it pretty quick and within an hour didn't even notice. Too dark? Nah, my sunglasses are darker so I could see pretty well when it came working from forge to anvil to inside the shop. I just ended using them as all-round safety glasses for everything. Protection from infrared radiation? While I can't measure this I can say that I notice a difference when staring into the fire. In the past, I won't stare too long into the fire and only chance quick glances. With these on, I could stare and not see spots. Shapes and pieces were easy to see clearly in the heat and it made easy to see when my billet hit forge welding temp. Worth the $ and I am happy with them.

Bought several pairs so far. These are my favorite sunglasses so I have a pair in all of my vehicles and another on top of my fridge. They are comfortable, just the right tint and fit on my (adult) face better than most sunglasses. If you ride motorcycles, these would be a great pair to wear!
