Review: Durability and looks without the big price tag - I think these might be the best pair of pants I own. I purchased 3 of them in different colors and I'm very happy with my purchase. From the look and styling, to the material and their durability, I think Wrangler hit a home run with these. I bought these for work. But these are definitely a pair of pants you can wear on a casual night out and still look spiffy. The price is on point. And for the money I think the bang for the buck is unbeatable. Fit is true to size. The waist is not really stretchy so If you prefer a little give in the waist of your pants order a size or 2 up. I find these pants to be extremely comfortable. I can bend, kneel, squat and do any number of movements without restrictions. Other pants typically get hung up on the knees for example if you squat. These are plenty roomy and don't feel claustrophobic. You retain a natural range of motion in them. They are thick and feel like you can weather the apocalypse in these but because of the design you have room to breathe so there's no overheating in them. I love these pants. Review: A must have for your working man - These work pants are tough and comfortable. The fabric feels durable without being stiff, and they hold up well for long workdays. The fit is relaxed but still functional, with plenty of pockets for tools and essentials. Great for outdoor work, construction, or everyday wear if you want something sturdy and reliable. A solid choice for work pants!

Durable but Quirky Waist Sizing
I've only worn them once, but the pants appear very durable and are of good quality. I like the ripstop material as it dries quickly. If weight indicates quality, these pants weigh 888 grams or 1.9 lbs. Maybe the weight can be used to compare other pant choices. The waist sizing is weird on me. I normally wear 32" waist pants, but these 32 " pants are too tight. However, the 33" waist pants are too big and I cannot pull them down over my hips. Maybe it's my body. The relaxed fit makes them comfortable, allowing free body movement. I like the pant's cargo pockets, and they are quite large. I recommend these pants for anyone doing outdoor work, but be mindful of the waist sizing. I noticed that many reviews do not show ripstop, but other fabrics.

Best working pants a man needs
Very great pants. I’ve been wearing this brand for probably about 8 years now. This pair I bought is probably my 10th-ish that I have gotten. They are tough and reliable. Depending on the amount and type of wear and tear, you can probably get 1-3 years use out of them before they start getting kind of ratty. They also tend to lose color after a while but that is to be expected. They have generous pocket space. While a tad heavy, they make up for in comfortability and ruggedness. My cats love them because they can dig their claws in and I don’t feel a thing! I definitely recommend these and have already gotten my friends to buy them too. Hey Wrangler, if you are looking for a brand advocate, HOOK ME UP!

Carhartt... Who's Carhartt?
Boy oh boy, was I skeptical about ordering PANTS online. I wear a 35 x 30... yea, I'm kinda built like a brick... a not-too-tall brick, so I never buy pants without trying them on first. So I was more than a little pleasantly suprised to find a pair of extremely well-built, comfortable, and well-fitting cargo pants that even look pretty good on me. (I say pretty good cause, lets face it, with my body type I'll never be in an Old Spice commercial) I got several comments on these jeans the first day I wore them to work! (Yes, by women...) I thought I would point out a few things about these pants that aren't mentioned in the Amazon description: The Best! If you actually do some PHYSICAL LABOR at your jobsite, you most likely wear a knife with a side pocket clip. I usually put mine in my front right pocket in the corner. I have lost count of how many pockets I have worn completely out, and how many good knives I have lost, by constantly taking my knife out and putting it back to that spot. These pants have nice piece of leather in that exact spot!!! And its not overly thick so my knife is still easy to take out and put back in my pocket. Truly Awsome! The pant sizes have more variety. What I mean is most pant sizes go from a 34" waist to a 36" waist... I have always been cursed with being right in the middle. The 34 was a little too tight, and the 36 was just too baggy. 35" is just right! Riggs is made by Wrangler so maybe that is how all their jeans are. Whatever the case my be, Thank You! I have owned several pairs of Carhartt cargo work pants... I don't want to say anything bad about their product, because I really do believe they make a great pair of jeans, BUT... Their pants have always been tailored to a slimmer build, and there are a lot of guys like me who will just never fit into that particular cut. Has anyone out there ever spent more than a few hours bucking bales of hay? If you have then you have probably worn out the thighs of either the right or left legs, maybe both! These pants are DOUBLE LAYERED over the thighs. I haven't put them through the ringer yet, but I believe these pants will take a lot hay bales before they will even come close to wearing out. Minor con The only thing I have that is not completely complimentory about these pants are the pockets. I love the number and placement of all the pockets, but the front hip and rear pockets are very deep. This is more a personal preference than any real flaw in the product. A lot of it has to do with the fact that I ALWAYS where a watch, and it makes it a little awkward to dig into my pocket. I also cary a golfers wallet (yea, I'm an enigma) so its also a bit of an adjustment digging it out of my back pocket. In summary, I really can't say enough great things about these Riggs cargo pants. I feel like a was stretching a little bit about the pockets, but I base a lot of my Amazon purchases on customer reviews and I thought I owed it to everyone else looking for a product like this to give as much information as I could. (And I hope my spelling was close!)

Very Nice, Will be Purchasing More.
I like these utility pants a lot. I returned the first pair I purchased because the length was way too long. I generally need a 36" inseam, and what I received were about 3" too long. That was crazy. I returned and exchanged them for a 34" inseam, and they are perfect. I have a 38" waist, and the fit is perfect. These pants remind me of the BDUs I wore in the military. Nice quality, a relaxed and very comfortable fit, and spacious side pockets. I'll definitely be purchasing more. Stay safe out there, and God bless!

Even though relaxed fit they are small and pinches in waist/hip
Edit: there is clearly a sizing issue. These pants have nice pockets and seem durable but the 36 waist is too small and the 38 is too big. Also I think the 30in length is way longer than it should be. Most of the time 30in is on the shorter side for me and these are long if I pull them past my belly button. I guess that’s what you get for paying $23 on sale, they must be pawning off bad sized product. Would be 5 stars if the fit was consistent. They were just a but tight in the waist and hip causing a pinch. I had to order a size up (which is 2 sizes between 36 and 38). I was disappointed because I have their ATG hiking cargo pants that fit perfectly at size 36. I don’t know if it’s a quality control issue or sizing difference between product lines, but the pants seem high quality otherwise.

Vs. Carhartt: Sizing, Durability, Utility; alternative to BDUs
I work on a trail crew in Utah. I've worn double-fronted duck cloth Carhartts but really wanted something with cargo pockets. Some of the guys I work with started wearing these so I thought I'd give them a try. Sizing: Reading reviews, I read some conflicting reports about sizing; buy them true size, buy them large and they'll shrink, etc. So I just ordered the same size as my Carhartts and hoped for the best. Sure enough, they fit great. Actually they are really comfortable. A little baggy in the legs--like, really relaxed--but I don't mind. Particularly the lower legs, I think they are straight-cut; not tapered at all for the thinner calf. Whatever. Durabilty: These pants are tough, but not as tough as Carhartt's duck pants. Also a couple stitches have come undone. I think the stitching isn't tight enough. Utility: Awesome. I love the cargo pockets, they get my wallet out of my back pocket and I can actually carry my smart phone in its bulky, rubbery case, as well as my sunglasses case (I wear prescription shades and am always switching back and forth as I go in and out of doors). I love BDU pants (army pants) and these are pretty similar to those, however the pockets don't billow out and can't accommodate as much. I don't use the little auxilliary pockets on the outside of the cargo pockets, but I can see how they could be useful for nails, screws, or a lighter or something. "Knife clip pocket protector" :/ One of the the selling points for me was the piece of leather on the right pocket to reinforce it from your pocket knife. (actually it's for a tape measure, according to the literature came with the pants). The pocket on my Carhartts got shredded so I thought this was a really nice feature. Problem is, it's a pit thick and if you have a small or really tight pocket clip on your knife, it might not slide on there. My Kershaw Skyline won't go on with anything like ease; on the other hand my Tenacious works fine. So I've been carrying the latter more :) I think these would be a good non-tactical-looking EDC pant, for guys who like to be prepared. They are also a bit cooler than Carhartts, being of lighter material. Great pants, I'm glad I bought them.
