Tennis Dry Overgrip

This review probably will mean little to nothing to those looking to use it for tennis, racquetball, even Pickleball. I started with dried contact cement for grip on my white water paddles. Then bicycle handlebar tape. Then I tried some of my racquet tape and found it to work better. This bright green caught my eye and I have redone all of my WW and touring kayak paddles with this. On a kayak paddle it only goes on your control side, usually right, where you hand normally is. So far it is holding up well and is a bit longer than Tourney brand I was using. The extra inches works much better on my paddles. I think this Tannius has a better feel when wet. It also seems grippier than the other brand, but not a tacky/sticky feel. It stays in place, not moving or slipping under extreme pressure and torque.

I use Tannis over grips for my pickleball paddles. Good quality and variety of colors for a good price. I find that they work as well as more expensive over grips.

This tape has enough tackiness (not too much) to help me hold my tennis racket firmly so when I hit a volley shot it doesn't tend to rotate in my hand due to slickness if not hit perfectly in the sweet spot. It went on my racket handle easily and covered the old grip just fine. (I like two grips on my rackets). I've had it on my playing racket for several practices and 2 matches and it still has some life left in it. I think it's a great tape especially for the price.

This isn’t just a strip of foam grip. It’s designed to look great when you’re finished applying it. One end is tapered which gives you a professional looking application. The whole strip is durable and yet stretches so you can overlap as you go around the grip. I actually use it on my pistol. I shoot competitively and this tape adds both comfort and a stable contact with the handle.

I like a dry-feel grip. After unraveling the first grip, it feels more like a tac grip. I play outside in Florida where my hands become very sweaty. The tac creates a slippery situation, hence why I like the dry-feel. I’m disappointed that these are not as spongy feeling as other grips I’ve had. We will see how they perform, but I can already my hand will be slipping once sweaty. It’s as easy as any other grip. I like the different colors in the pack. I just wish it had more of a dry-feel as advertised.

The tape is ok. I have used other tape that helped your grip better because they were more tacky. This tape is not bery tacky.

Terrible quality. The grip loses its stickiness very fast and just unravels in your hand. There is no fixing the grip once it comes apart. The colors are beautiful but this is not worth the money.
