I am very happy with this. It works fine with my M2 iPad Pro from Apple and supports Volume Control via Control Center (see photos I have included), despite some confusing & conflicting information in the Product Description saying it doesn’t one minute, then does in another paragraph. I get decent sound-quality from this thing with a pair of Linsol KZ-ZS10 Pro IEM Earphones, despite being only able to hear just a little hiss in standby, this is normal I would say because IEMs tend to be sensitive like that, especially mine. All the frequencies can clearly be heard however. TV Shows & Movies also sound great! I like the convenience of being able to hook up some Power too so I never have to worry about draining the battery, so all in all I have no complaints whatsoever and would highly recommend this DAC to anyone on a tight budget. One thing I would just like to point out with this thing is that it seems to ‘power-down’ when you have something on pause, meaning the hiss will stop after some 10 seconds but don’t be alarmed as when you resume playback things will be fine ;)! Just get it… you won’t be disappointed ;)!!

Used to connect 3.5mm wired headset/earbuds to iPad mini, this is the best looking adaptor I’ve found. Ability to charge while using the headset is helpful. Good quality materials and robust construction.

I bought some Chi-Fi in ear monitors before I realised my phone didn't have a headphone jack. Duhhh. A bit pricier than some other USB C solutions out there but it works. The sound is noticeably louder than anything I'd had over Bluetooth from the same device. I had tried Android apps that boost volume but they seemed to add distortion with volume. This adapter appeared to give a cleaner boost. I've a slight concern that the bar design could put strain on the USB C socket if knocked. No problem there yet.

With both the 3.5mm jack and USB port in use, the connection drops randomly every few minutes. I cleaned the USB port of my phone thoroughly, tried it with a bunch of headphones and USB C cables, did everything I could to eliminate other factors aside from the adapter itself being the issue... It even still happens even with everything completely stationary and laid down on a surface. The only reason I'm not refunding the item is it still works perfectly fine with one or the other plugged in as opposed to both connections in use. Also the sound quality is better than the prior Y shaped cable variants of the same adapter type that I've bought in the past and ultimately I just can't be bothered with the hassle. Wouldn't recommend buying this but we'll see how long until it breaks I guess.

Tryed a 7 in 1 hub with a headphone jack and it wouldn't work so I tryed this one. Fits nice and snug and works perfectly and at the same time charging your product. Very happy with both the performance and the price.

Be very careful with this product, just because it comes in at a premium, doesn't mean it's a quality product. It does not charge and allow you to listen to 3.5mm headphones at the same time. It causes audio drop outs on all devices tested so far, that range from Xiaomi 11t/one plus 8T, Samsung Tab A, Amazon fire max 11. It also gets quite hot, so I am not using it any further as it will damage your charging ports and consequently your devices. Extremely poor product, avoid at all costs.

I bought this to use my wired 3.5 jack headphones with my new Samsung A34. This model was not listed in the compatible models on Amazon so I emailed the company direct &, within 24 hours, I received a message saying that it is suitable for all current Samsung phones. I duly bought one & I am very pleased with it, the sound quality is excellent & the fact that the lead is plugged in sideways at the bottom of the phone means that I can put it in my belt holder & listen while working in the garden. I noticed that it became quite warm in use so I emailed Cable|Creation again to ask if this is normal & again they replied very quickly that it is normal & nothing to worry about.

First, lets clarify something. I'm not sure why other people are complaining so much in some reviews. This adapter does exactly what it is supposed to do. It replaces the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack on newer phones and provides a way to charge your phone at the same time. The product description clearly states that it won't fit if you have a very thick case on your device. This is nothing new in the small electronics device world. Suck it up buttercup. If your device case is an issue, and preventing you from using this product in the way it is intended, get a new case. The product itself is fantastic! It fits securely in the USB-C receptacle of my Samsung S22 Ultra, with a mild but positive click. There is no setup involved. You simply plug in your phones or IEM's and off you go. This brings us to the audio quality. It's simply outstanding, far surpassing my expectations. Either by using a decent DAC chip or building a proper circuit around that chip, or both, it has plenty of juice to drive ant IEM and likely most low ohm headphones to sufficient loudness levels. Paired with a good app like Poweramp, you are in business. I'm very impressed that such a small investment provides this much performance. Do not be swayed by the negative reviews, and obvious personal issues that are a "one-off" situation, with individuals who have unrealistic expectations for a product that goes for under $20.00. If you want a very decent DAC/USB-C to 3.5mm converter, and don't need additional amplification to drive headphones, these are the answer. I would buy this again over and over if I were to lose mine. I don't know what kind of longevity I'll get from this product, but it feels solid. Cable Creations builds other high quality items that I use in other parts of my personal device instruments, digital audio workstation, and home studio. They always have mainstream and difficult to find gear, with value and performance that exceeds my expectations at a price that beats the competition. Go for it.

This dongle is great and as it fits horizontally I can use my holster and have room for my wired earbuds with a right angle 3.5 mm plug. It also allows charging while the earbuds are plugged in. If you have invested in expensive wired 3.5 mm plug earbuds this will work well. There have recently been a number of well-reviewed USB-C wired budget earphones with DACs coming on the market (COOYA, KLIM Fusion, ULIX Rider, TITACUTE) so there will be a lesser need in future for the dongle.

It's a really nice product and a good solution that allows me to use a more confortable headset that doesn't fit Samsung's phones. I'm waiting on you to exchange the other item I've purchased that came defective! Thank you

Ich nutze den Adapter für das Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. Der Adapter funktioniert einwandfrei und hält was er verspricht! Die Tonqualität ist sehr gut und auch das Aufladen mit dem Adapter während der Nutzung der Kopfhörer funktioniert. Es lädt schon etwas langsamer als bei direktem Kontakt mit dem Ladekabel, aber das fällt kaum auf. Kleiner Minuspunkt: Die Nutzung des Mikrofons funktioniert zwar, wenn der Adapter im Handy steckt, jedoch nicht mehr, nachdem man die Kopfhörer verbunden hat. Also kein Telefonieren oder Aufnehmen von Sprachnachrichten mit den Kopfhörern drin. Daran gewöhnt man sich aber schnell. Der Adapter steckt sehr stabil im Gerät, hat keinen Wackelkontakt und zeigt auch keine Anzeichen von Lockerung nach wiederholtem Rein- und Rausziehen.
