I’m so happy with this. I’m a klutz and accidentally broke my french press a couple mornings ago dumping it out in the trash. I immediately went to look for the replacement part and wanted to save a few bucks so I looked at other options non OEM. Came across this one with the high ratings and purchased. It fits perfectly and apparently some of the money goes to good causes. Quality seems top notch and made in Canada not China!! Love it! Quality seems exactly the same as the original, will update if there’s any issues upon use but very happy with this.

This was a perfect fit for my Sept 2023 Oxo press with grounds lifter, as well as my much older Oxo grounds lifter press that has oval cutouts. See first two pictures. It seems people were having trouble with getting replacement carafes that fit the previous-generation Grounds-lifter Oxo French Press that has the holes in the frame that are rectangular and smaller, exposing less glass. I don't really know about that one because it's not the one I have. It's the 3rd picture. This carafe MAY or MAY NOT fit. I love the grounds lifter and it works well for me so it's worth it to replace the carafe every so often, e.g., measured in YEARS, not weeks. As far as the carafe itself, it seems to be well-made, fits well, but I won't really know its durability until I've used it a bunch of times and it has survived and thrived without breaking or cracking. The ones that this fits, based on my personal firsthand experience, are the Grounds lifter Oxo French Press with the LARGER (wider) rectangular cutouts, the model that was the current model on Amazon as of Sept. 2023, and a much older model that has smaller OVAL-ended cutouts in the frame. Again, see the first two pics. The just-prior Oxo model had smaller (narrower) rectangular cutouts and SOME people said this carafe, and other "universal" carafe models didn't fit properly in the frame. It does seem that Oxo changes their models and specs over time. It also looks like Oxo has gotten out of the business of "genuine Oxo replacement carafes", out of stock everywhere, so a replacement carafe like this is the only game in town if your Oxo grounds-lifter carafe is broken. May you be as fortunate as me and have this carafe model perfectly fit your Oxo frame. :)

Worked well for 4 years when I had to replace a parent’s French press which I had inherited. Lasted 4 years then cracked. The original had been over 30 years old. Minus one star for breaking.

Works perfectly with our Bodum 34oz Chambord French Press and at a great price. We always keep an extra on hand. We tend to break them once a year and are able to use this replacement without a hiccup. Strongly recommend!

Fits my Bodum Cafetiere 8 cup / 1 litre perfectly! The glass seems solid. Differences from the original Bodum glass: glass seems thicker, and the beak has a split in the middle, presumably for better pouring. (The Bodum does tend to drip)
