I am always surprised when Amazon can provide a supplement of good quality that it will pass even my tests (applied kinesiology) and, moreover, at a decent price. This not only passed, it also proved to arrive at the right time to provide me with the right support at the right time. I have since bought a second bottle to make sure I have enough for the foreseeable future. I would never have known that Green lipped mussel could be used as a supplement!

The most expensive pet food is the one a person buys in good faith, usually on the recommendation of someone else, but their animals refuse to eat it. These things are subjective, but in our experience, this particular food is wolfed down by our three dogs like there's no tomorrow! By that measure, I feel confident at the very least to say it's worth a try.

I use this product - in a stack of supplements - to help with joint pain and the inflexibility that comes with age and injury. I don't know how much of a "placebo effect" comes into play here but, for me, results seemed to come after the initial doses: the pain and stiffness associated with the long-standing effects of an historic lower back injury were greatly eased.

I was pleased to try these 'Green Lipped Mussel 500mg 90 Capsules – sustainably sourced from Pure New Zealand Waters, expertly extracted Using CO2 – Non-GMO, Gluten & Dairy Free - Manufactured in The UK. I have never tried this supplement before, although a dog I had when a child took a doggy variety and it certainly seemed to help her joints. I presume that couldn't have been a placebo effect because she wouldn't have known they were to meant to help her. I have been taking this supplement for over three weeks now and I really think they are easing my joints. I will carry on taking them anyway. You get 90 capsules in a white plastic flat container, with a flip lid. Under the lid is a security seal for safety. The capsules are not too big to take and the dose of 1-2 per day should be taken with water and food. They have got a light sea aroma to them, however no taste when you take them. The ingredients are 500mg green lipped mussel and 12mg Vitamin C along with brown rice flour in a vegetarian shell. They have been manufactured in the UK are gluten, dairy and GMO free and are sustainably sourced. The current price of £6.99 is good value for money, in my opinion, for a quality product.
