where are these made?

Unsure but love love these towels. I always love thick and soft hotel towels and these give me that same feeling. You won’t regret buying them

Does the decorative stitching shrink in the drier?

If it does then you are using dry times that are too long. Towels will shrink in area when they are exposed to long heat times, have rayon, looping isn’t as dense as the edging. If you have a humid dry setting use that or take them out in 30min and let them air dry. Use white vinegar in cold water rinse cycle vs fabric softener. Fabric softener damages cotton to hold shape and absorption quality.

My towels have been washed 3 times now and are still not soft. May I use dryer sheets or wool dryer balls?

The towels have been washed quite a few times and still feel like they did when I got them. Certainly no where near as soft as I expected. I was looking for really thick towels. These a OK towels and better than many but not what I wanted. Good luck.

Can these towels be embroidered with initials?

You’d have to ask the supplier. If you have a local person, I don’t see why not.
