I found this product exceptionally practical, even in challenging conditions like being out on a dark night in the middle of nowhere. It was straightforward to use and performed as needed. The paper quality was satisfactory—better than what you'd find in most public bathrooms, though it doesn't quite compare to the comfort of standard home supplies. I also appreciated the well-designed packaging, which was easy to open and thoughtfully allowed for an adequate target area when placed on the ground. Overall, a reliable option for outdoor use.

Camping in high use and particularly high altitude areas, there’s never a good place to leave your “deposits.” There’s no such thing as a “cat hole” at a 10k alpine lake and so mostly people make rock piles over their droppings. Gross. There’s a lot of interesting info on the internet regarding use and opinions on these. My experience: Use - honestly easier than a cat hole. Packing it up - if you’ve done dispersed camping with a portable toilet and “poo powder,” this is about the same. Seals up into a nice neat package. Smell - I carried around my filled ones for a couple days and they didn’t smell. (On the outside of my pack.) Needed? I’m sure there are a lot of opinions on this. High use, high altitude- no one wants to find your leavings. Let’s leave no trace and not love these special places to death.

These are the best bags I have purchased, which are many. I use them for boating. I have found when used for poop adding a small bottle of water eliminates all odor. I can keep the sealed bag in the head or storage cabinet without any smell emitted. After a day on the water I can open the door to the head and there is still no odor. So putting it in the trash bag to take on the shuttle after mooring is not noticeable. Highly recommend! Keep Tahoe Blue, poop in Restop bag.

superb for mandated leave no trace in nps wilderness areas. packet of toilet paper and wipes inadequate for 1 poop, much less 2. based on reviews, supplemented. much odor leakage despite superb seal and outer bag.

We didn't have to use these on our trip as we expected but we have them now for any time we might need them.

I used these during a car camping trip. It was cold and I couldn’t make it to the bathroom. I used this in my tent w/a portable toilet. It was easy to use. Clean up was easy and there was no lingering odor after closing up the bag.

We bought these for a trip to the Rubicon Trail, where absolutely everything is rock and there is no way you are going to be able to dig a hole in order to do your business. These are great! Simply find a private location, open up the bag, hold it tight to your cheeks , squat down a little for stability, and go. When done, tuck everything neatly into the bag and zip it (like a ziplock!). Throw the bag away in any trash can. Important to note…in no way is the small amount of toilet paper they include with this kit ever going to be enough, so pack extra!
