Brush hog shear bolts work, maybe a little to good
These fit as advertised. My only statement is that they do shear, sometime seem to shear to easy! I had run brush hogs in the past and rarely sheared a bolt. With that said, they shear to protect the blade and drive train. To me they are to light and a grade 5 would be to heavy.

Fits an older "Bush Hog" rotary mower
Ordered these for an older "Bush Hog", "Rebel" model , originally driven by an Oliver super 55 tractor. I believe the mower cut is about 5'. They are an exact fit but I haven't had to replace any shear bolts yet as I'm careful to avoid hitting hard objects - I'm counting on them being "brittle" enough to break when they should. Prices at the local farm dealers were quite expensive.
