Best purchase ever. Don’t overthink this - just stick it on and smooth it out and move on to your next project. I used just ONE piece and tucked in the corners like you would wrap a christmas present and was done in a few minutes! It looks great and although I only plan to have this as a temporary solution- I think I’ll keep it long term after seeing and using it. I’m having a surgery in a couple of days so I needed a quick solution and this was it. The prep- I didn’t prep or sand my furniture item, I didn’t measure anything, I didn’t cut individual pieces for each flat surface, and I didn’t use any extra tools for air bubbles- I just smoothed it all out by hand, peeling and re-placing when I messed up. I used just ONE rectangle piece of this sticker paper to cover the entire thing and it was so easy! The adhesion- This really kept its stickyness despite me peeling it back and making adjustments after placing it down. I didn’t heat it up with a hairdryer like some people wrote in their reviews but that might have helped for the final edge that I stuck down. It was easy to place and re-place when I needed to adjust parts I didn’t place well. The back edge (which was the last part I stuck down and also a strange particle board texture) wasn’t sticking entirely and since it’s not visible I just used a piece of double sided tape to adhere it and that did the trick. The color- The pattern is very forgivable and you can’t notice the cuts I made to wrap my rounded corners unless you’re a few inches away and REALLY looking. There’s no shine to the material so it looks like wood and not a sticker. Quality- it’s durable for a sticker top- I aggressively ran my nails over it for a scratch test and it doesn’t even look like I’ve touched it. I honestly made the least amount of effort possible when placing this and it came out incredible.

It looks so realistic! We covered a white ceiling beam in our house with it and it looks like actual wood. My husband put it on while on a ladder so it was a little tricky for him to try to smooth out at first but that was just logistical and not the product itself. It looks great.

I have a cheap black desk that was like a literal black hole in my room. I wanted to brighten it up and I saw this product. I was a little skeptical of this product but I figured I could just return it if i'm unhappy with it. I first wrapped a small piece of the desk and it looked realistic so I decided to do the whole thing. WOW!!! Once I wrapped my whole desk it looked absolutely incredible!! It transformed my ugly black cheap desk into a beautiful light wood elegant piece of furniture!! This product is absolutely incredible! The best DIY transformation I've ever done! Literally amazing end result! I could not believe how good it came out! It does require patience, and I used a credit card to smooth out the bubbles as I wrapped it. The corners are a bit difficult. For a desk this size it took me about four hours but with good music playing and my desk literally transforming into a beautiful piece of furniture before my eyes, the time flies. I wrapped it by myself so another set of hands would probably make it go by faster. It feels like a normal Ikea desk and looks so realistic you wouldn't believe my desk was wallpapered by touching it or looking at it. The only way someone can tell this used to be a hideous nightmare desk is with a magnifying glass. Zoom in on my photo, look at the corners, that was the best I could get the corners but it was also my first time doing something like this. Cannot say enough good things about this product. Wish I could give it a thousand stars. Love it!

Our house is from the 1800s and has a vinyl countertop. Instead of getting a whole new countertop, I decided to give it a little upgrade! This stuff looks great! It’s not insanely sticky, so I did use gorilla glue spray adhesive and a heat gun. I also used an exacto knife around the corners and edges.. It’s super easy to work with and cuts easy, but I only gave 4 stars because durability it seems like it might not last long. It does bubble up in some areas but that could probably be avoided with a slower and more careful installation. It’s definitely a good value for an affordable upgrade so I bought another roll.
