ZAGGUltra Clear Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S10 5G - Clear

I've used this protector for years on my galaxy s10 5g. It has kept my screen in mint condition. There is a very complicated process to installing this screen protector though. The instructions will be vague but just understand that the protector is between two protective layers in the packaging and both outer layers have a purpose. The bottom layer is made to contact the phone first. It is sticky but is only supposed to hold everything in place while you remove the layers. There is a split in the middle of the bottom layer. Pick up the protector and its layers from the top off of the phone using the middle split as a hinge almost like your folding the whole thing in half. The bottom layer will come apart at this split. This is how the bottom layer will separate from the protector in the middle of the layers. Push the protector against the phone with the squeegee and let the bottom layer keep seperating as you push the squeegee towards the top. Repeat with the bottom half. The reviews that say it doesn't curve may be leaving on the outer layer that stays firm and will not contour to the edges. The protector will contour after removal of this outer layer.

It was purchase for a friend it was not installed.

I'm sure a smarter person would have no problem with this screen protector. I read a few reviews that stated the instructions were wrong or difficult to understand. I thought, well, certainly I could figure it out. I was wrong. Maybe this is a great screen protector, I'll never know. I gave up after I couldn't figure out step 3. ( I still had 3 more steps to go).I've had screen protectors were I had to use a special light to activate it. The phone would sit inside a jig and it was all very fancy. Took like 20 minutes or some such thing... but I managed to do it a few times.My point is: there is a problem if ANYONE is screwing this up at this point.I actually bought another brand at the same time I bought this one. Because of the reviews. I guess I should have seen if any youtuber made a video but I already trashed the thing. I don't need the frustration or need to feel dumb.

I would buy these over glass screen protectors at this point. They are easy to apply once you learn how to apply them. However, there is a learning curve. PROS: You cannot tell the screen protector is there when installed properly, the fingerprint reader continues to work, and the fell of the screen protector is great. CONS: Learning curve on applying the screen protector. My recommendation, read and follow the directions exactly. Do not skip steps or attempt to change what is recommended. Instructions for tab 2 and tab 3 are a bit fuzzy at first. What they want you to do is line up the screen protector, bend it in half, and remove tab 2 by using the squiggy. Start in the middle and run the squiggy toward the top to remove tab 2 and repeat by bending in half and running squiggy to bottom to remove tab 3. Do not remove those tabs by hand!

quality packaging but screen protector was did not have sides curved to match my phone screen profile so left me with exposed edges getting dusty, etc.

Worst application I've ever had out of all the protective films I've tried in my entire life. The screen looks like a modern abstract painting after application.Listen to the reviews. There are better options for sure.

Do not purchase. Buy a Zagg
