Despite what the dimensions say, this bento box is definitely big enough for anyone who thing it might be too small. The bento box itself is also easy to clean, and its small complex design makes it so easy to carry/fit in most lunch boxes. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants something to store a decent sized lunch. Just don't expect to be able to pack leftover food, I suggest making your own meal to not waste any space like what would happen if you were to pack a leftover pizza.

I picked this up because twice now I’ve had a hinge snap on the lid of my previous bento boxes, and I wanted something without that point of failure. This is a great bento for the price, especially since it can go in the dishwasher! Most of the traditional boxes require hand washing, but this one does not. I’ve seen folks saying it’s small, but portion size across two containers is more than enough for an adult lunch. For reference, the bottle in the picnic table photo is 32oz, not a 16.9oz regular water bottle. It holds A LOT if you pack with care. I wouldn’t pack soup in it, but I’ve had no issues with saucy things. Silicone muffin cups fit inside it no problem if you need additional separation for foods. Lids still close just fine. The lids are inset, so you can’t pack foods that are taller than the boxes, but as long as everything fits neatly inside it, you’re good to go. There is room in the carry bag for a thin cold pack if you want to add extra chill to your box. The utensils are small, but functional. I’ve had no difficulty using them. Also love that this one comes with a set of chopsticks. The strap is just a piece of elastic that goes around both boxes, and all you have to do is slide it on. It’s a snug fit, but I recommend putting it in the carry bag for additional security anyway. I’ve had no problems putting it in my backpack and carrying it this way. Great box, easy to transport, no leak issues for me. I’m super happy with this.

So I've been looking for a Bento box for some time now, and many of my friends have told me that this was the box to have. So I caved, that and all the reviews on here. Upon getting and opening the box I was very impressed. Then came day one of using said box... [Portion Size: 2/5] The reason, the ONLY reason this scores a 2 instead of a 5 is because of the depth of the individual bins. My lunch consists of a sandwich, some type of fruit, and a snack chip. My thought was to have the sandwich in one bin, the fruit and container in the other. Well boy was I mistaken. I'm not one to go overboard with making my sandwiches... but a sandwich made on sourdough, 2 pieces of cheese, and 6 slices of extra-thin sliced meat does not fit in the depth the box provides. The sandwich fits in the bin just fine, so long as you don't want to put the lid on it. I tried everything... pressed it, squished it, smashed it... the sandwich itself is just too think to fit in the box and close it. So I put it on the bottom, used the pressure from the top box and band to hold it in place. By the time I went to eat lunch, the bottom lid had opened up again and the top piece of bread had hardened. For everything else I take with me (random left-over days, salads, etc... both bins work perfectly. On sandwich days... well I was forced to buy a bigger Bento box... [Leak Proof: 4/5] So they claim this box is completely leak proof, that is in fact only like 99% true. And the 4 instead of 5 stars is only after buying a bigger Bento Box the feature this box is missing. That is the divider. The divider itself does not prevent liquids of any sort from passing through. So when I have some wet fruit on one side and something dry on the other, by lunch time, the dry side is also wet and a bit more squishy. Oh well, I can deal. Then I bought a bigger Bento Box because of the reason above. The dividers in this other box are in fact leak proof, and prevent liquids from passing under/around it. I feel as though if a bit of extra thought was put into the divider, this would be a 5star rating for this category. [Easy to clean: 5/5] I mean come on, unless you leave it sit out all day every day without cleaning it, it's super easy to clean and maintain. Little bit of soap, little water, and a quick wipe down... you're good to go. It does say it's dishwasher safe, but I have a High Heat dishwasher and do not trust any plastics in there, so I wash this by hand every night. [Eating Utensils: 5/5] Fork, spoon, knife, chop sticks... all of them are sturdy and comfortable to use. [Overall: 4/5] If the portion size wasn't an issue, this would have been a 5/5. I still use this box and will continue to use it for non-sandwich days. I will say that the eating utensils in this box are FAR superior to the ones in the other box, so this set comes with me no matter which box I use. My co-workers are always commenting on the box itself, and one has already bought their own. If you're looking for a solid, cost effective, and durable Bento Box... and don't mind bagging your sandwich, this is HANDS DOWN your go to box. If you want your sandwich in the box as well, look for an XL or 68oz box.

Solid and smart construction - everything you need in a compact package. It looks nice and is easy to open and put together with a basic understanding on how to use the seal. It has plenty of space to fit a nutritious meal that keeps you full until dinner time. Some reviews stated that there wasn't enough space, but I can fit a whole ribeye steak, sweet potato mash with protein rice, and a good sauce. So, I dont understand how there could be reviews like that out there. Bless their hearts. Its really easy to clean too. All in all, good buy.

Its the beat purchase i have made so far, the color is pretty, very durable, good quality, not so heavy and very stable. Beat for meal preps heats food very good.

I’ve been using this bento box for about a year and it fits a lot of food. It has two containers that are held together with an elastic band, and it comes with its own fork and spoon. It’s very practical and cute, and unlike other lunch boxes, it’s not very big so it fits perfectly in your backpack without any worries😎✨

Okay so first I have to say that this is a really small container. As you can see from the picture it is about the length and width of my hand and the height is just over half of my hand. It is a decent case but I would definitely not call it the highest quality at all. First I will state the good things about it which are that it comes with utensils which seem to be sturdy enough made out of plastic. The second thing would be that it does close well and I like that it looks very elegant. Now for the cons. As I already stated it is Very small. Also it took me a couple of tries to figure out how to get the top off and I thought that if I had put food in here it would be impossible to get it off without spilling. I finally figured out that you don't open it by the tabs on the sides but there is one corner that lip is over just slightly and that's where you're supposed to pull it up. I can't imagine you would be able to fit more than the equivalent of a sandwich in one part and a very small salad or some fruit in another. Also the separator that comes with it does not sit in the container tightly at all it slips around. I am going to try to correct this by gluing a small piece of foam to either end of the separator to hold it more firmly in place or see what else I can do. This is a good container for a very small lunch or a snack but that's about it. All together I'm not sure that I would recommend this for an adult. Maybe for a kid for their school lunch it might be adequate depending on how much they eat. For that reason I couldn't give it more than three stars. It's not enough of a hassle for me to return it since I can use it to put if not my lunch, other than a light lunch on a day when I may not be that hungry, than maybe some snacks at least. Definitely would not purchase this again but I won't go to the trouble of returning it either.

I needed a replacement for my last bento box and was happy to see that this one comes with chopsticks. I still have my old bag, so I pair it with this. It would be nice if this also brought a carrying bag.

I haven't used it too much yet but it seems very nice. I like how compact it is.

This set for a lunch box provides everything necessary for a healthy lunch. Place for sandwiches but also extras including dips.

Great item to be owned. It is really elegant and it is an exact match to the written description. Microwave part is yet to be verified though. I will make sure to update the review when it is tested. Thank you for such quality!
