I was skeptical at first, but I’m so glad I decided to give the Faultless Iron Cleaner a try. My iron is super clean now and looks almost brand new! I carefully followed the directions: first I emptied the water from my iron, set it to the highest temperature, and prepared a cotton washcloth on top of a cotton towel. I squeezed some cleaner onto the washcloth, then placed the hot iron on it and started moving it in small circles. The iron did smoke—which is actually a good sign—and I could see the dirt being removed. I applied a bit of pressure while pressing the iron, and repeated the process twice. The results were fantastic—my iron went from looking stained and dull to completely clean and smooth. This cleaner really works, and I’ll definitely keep it on hand from now on!

I bought this to clean my 3 year old steam iron which had lot of burn-stuff. I wish I had before picture but it really cleaned the iron quite easily. I was almost giving it 5 stars but refrained for 1 con. Why follows: Good because: - Really cleans and removes all the burned-on stuff on iron plate making it clean and good to use. - Easy to use - I used my old kitchen rag, heated the iron (on cotton) and cleaned it in circular motion. (Just be careful about 'hot iron') - Cheap! For 6 bucks I saved almost $100 worth I would have spent on steam iron. Bad because: - It really needs to be throughly cleaned after use. It almost left some sticky substance on my pant I was about to iron (Warranting it 1 start). Luckily the label mentioned that just wash the clothes to remove any substance. And yes it came off - just had to scrub my pants a little in warm water and all is well. So lesson learnt really really clean the iron plate with a cloth and before you iron your new pants/shirt just iron on old towel to make sure all is well. This tube is also going to last me 5- 7 cleans. SO worth it and works well.

So you know when you iron something, and accidentally burn it, and the mess burned onto the iron and wouldn't come off, so you used the iron and the mess got transferred to the next several things you tried to iron, and were fused onto those things? Yeah-- you use this and none of that happens. Okay, the first part where you burn a mess onto the iron happens, because you made it too hot, but then you use Faultless Iron Cleaner, and your iron is clean again. I'm very happy I'm not ruining anymore clothes than necessary, and using this makes sure I don't render my iron useless.

This is a great product. I use it often. keeps the bottom of iron cleaned from burnt mark so it does not ruin clothes

Listen to me….. PURCHASE THIS!!!! I feel bad that i didn’t take a before picture. But look at how good my iron looks after only two rounds of adding this product. Follow directions for best results. I turned on the iron at its hottest level, i applied an amount equivalent to a quarter. Dont use a good towel because the stain on the towel will not come off. I give it a perfect 10!

It's ok, does the job, but you need the small tissue/towel to use the product.
