NOTE: The model I demonstrate in my video has a different plug (it's North American). Besides this cosmetic/regional difference the model performs the same. I tested this in an old, Victorian house where the Wi-Fi is located deep in the cement enclosed basement. I plugged in this extender three floors up in the attic. This little gadget works beautifully to boost your existing wi-Fi network, and the "pass-through" plug allows me to still use the entire plug. Pros: - Stupidly easy to set up. (there are literally 3 steps... the second step is "turn it on.") - Bunny ears fold back if you need it flush up against the wall. - Manual slide "on/off" button is nice... I like manual slide buttons. They confirm that you've actually turned it on, instead of sitting there pushing a little push-button, wondering if it registered. - Simple design. - Doesn't cover both plugs. - Plug allows you to continue using both plugs. This is smart engineering. - It actually works to boosts my existing wifi signal. Cons: - I believe there is actually artificial intelligence built into this device. I swear it answered me when I casually said, "Good morning." HINT: Check to see if you have a "WPS" button on the back of your existing wireless router. This will help you set this extender up. If you do NOT have this WPS button on your wireless router, you can still set this up, it's just it'll take 20 minutes instead of 4. Have a patience and follow the directions, and it will work beautifully. TIP: Once this is connected, it performs exactly like your original wireless network. That is, you connect using the same name of the network, same password, etc. No more weak wifi spots (or dead zones) with this awesome gadget. 5/5 stars. Hope you find this demonstration helpful.

Das Gerät wird in meinem Fall zur WLAN Reichweitenerweiterung und als WLAN Adapter genutzt. Der PC hängt per langem Kabel am Ethernetport und der TL-WA860RE verbindet sich mit dem WLAN vom Router, welcher eine Etage tiefer und räumlich horizontal versetzt ist.So Pi mal Daumen 5-6m durch mehrere Beton - vermutlich Stahlbeton - Wände. Hatte den TL-WA860RE vorher auch als reinen Repeater mit einem weiteren WLAN Adapter getestet, was auch wunderbar funktionierte, nur war der Empfang nicht ganz so prall. Weiß nicht ob's am WLAN Adapter oder der Sendeleistung des TL-WA860RE lag. Installation war easy going und ähnlich wie in der Beschreibung dargestellt. Praktisch steckt man den TL-WA860RE in die Steckdose, welche in Reichweite - muss nicht mal nahe oder daneben sein, man kann gleich den vermeintlich angepeilten Standord nehmen, solange das WLAN dort einen ausreichenden Empfang hat - des eigentlichen WLAN Routers ist. Dann leuchtet am TL-WA860RE ein oranges Lämpchen,vermutlich selbsttest oder ähnliches, nach kurzer Zeit fangen dann die grünen lämpchen an zu leuchten. Dann sollte man entweder per WLAN Adapter das TL-WA860RE in der WLAN-Netzliste finden, zu diesem Gerät dann "Verbinden"(; anklicken ;), oder man hat das LAN Kabel eingesteckt. Dann einfach den Browser öffnen und es sollte gleich eine Loginabfrage erscheinen. Logindaten, siehe Anleitung, eingeben und man landet in einem "Quick Setup". Ich weiß nicht wieso das Land abgefragt wird, es ändert jedenfalls nichts an der Menüsprache, die bleibt artig weiterhin Englisch. Man sollte also ein wenig Englisch verstehen. Theoretisch ist man per 5-6 Klicks + einmal WLAN Netzwerkschlüssel durch den ganzen Mumpiz durch und fertig. Aus dem "quick setup" lassen sich jedoch NICHT die Zugangsdaten zum Konfigurationsmenü des TL-WA860RE ändern, dazu müsste man sich ein weiteres mal einloggen. Ein Manko jedoch bleibt, es wird per WLAN Adapter Verbindung nach der Konfiguration nicht mehr möglich sein die Zugangsdaten zu ändern. Kam nach dem Verbinden des TL-WA860RE in das WLAN nicht mehr in das Konfigurationsmenü. Bei LAN Verbindung ging es ohne Probleme. Man sollte schon die Zugangsdaten des Repeaters ändern, allein aus Sicherheitsgründen. Habe das TL-WA860RE heute eingerichtet, weiß also nicht was die WLAN Konnektivität in ein paar Wochen aussieht. Es gab da ja einige Produktrezensionen, bei denen das wohl stark einbrach. Das kann ich natürlich noch nicht beurteilen.

Amplificador para la red Wifi. Cumple con su función perfectamente. Su instalación es muy sencilla. Directamente se enchufa a la corriente, tras unos segundos la luz de encendido se queda fija. Desde el mismo móvil, vamos redes wifi y seleccionamos la red TP LINK EXTENDER, una vez seleccionada acedemos a nuestro navegador y metemos la dirección IP 192.168.0.254. En nuestro navegador aparecerá la pantalla de configuración, primero nos indica que metamos una clave y luego la volvemos a introducir para confirmarla y le damos al enter. La siguiente pantalla nos muestra las redes wifi existentes, seleccionamos la nuestra y metemos la clave de nuestra red Wifi, la podréis encontrar debajo de vuestro router, le damos a guardar, tarda menos de un minuto en salvar la configuración. Y ya esta preparado para funcionar. En 4 minutos instalado. Donde antes tenía una rayita de cobertura o no tenía, ahora tengo a tope la señal. Muy buen producto, además no dejamos inutilizado el enchufe.

Kurulumu vs çok kolay ve çok işimizi gördü. Evin arka odalarında wifi kullanamıyorduk, şimdi problemsiz, kesintisiz kullanıyoruz. Prizin kullanımını engellemeyen tasarımı da ekstra avantaj.

Helped cure WiFi blackspots upstairs in our house. There were some initial teething problems, but for us the unit appears to work best if set up and then just left to 'stabilise'. Note of warning: If using a TP-Link router (or maybe any router) with this, the first time you sync the devices the repeater may bizarrely rename the WiFi SSID on your router. This is a security feature that is activated if you haven't changed the router's default settings (i.e. SSID name). This can easily be corrected by re-entering the router's WiFi settings and re-syncing with the repeater.
