RVGUARD Extension Cord Ends Male & Female Plug 6 Set, NEMA 5-15P& 5-15R

I just received these yesterday, and set to work replacing the ends on a couple of extension cords that I had previously put ends on a few years back. Unfortunately, the OTHER brand that I had purchased a few years back did NOT hold up well, and also were not that easy to install - based on how the screw attachments worked. Also, one end had rusted out a bit, and another had melted, so I decided to buy THIS brand instead, and try again. I was impressed by the quality of THIS brand - much sturdier, AND the way that you insert the wires into the holes and screw them down tight was a MUCH better design, and MUCH easier than the other brand. In fact, it so was so easy to install these ends, that I decided to build another 2 extension cords from scratch as well! I also REALLY liked the way that they designed the parts that grab the full wire - as it enters the body of these cord ends. When you easily line up the cord, and screw it down tight, the clamp has a really strong grip on the cord - which I'm sure will make the connections last much longer on my work sites! I am ready to order another set of these in the next few days!!

These replacement cord ends work very well. They seem to be well built, and tighten down on whatever size of cord you have. Would definitely recommend to whoever wants a quality end for their cords.

These are pretty good replacement plugs not as good as the high dollar ones but good enough

In three minutes I was able to fix two cords. So easy to use.

These are really solid, there's a lot of junk plugs out there, these are the best. The screws that retain the two halves are captured, they don't get lost. The plug can take up to 12 gage wire, and the termination system protects against shorts if the wires loosen. Fit and finish is excellent too.

So much so that I'm removing them to use these instead. I took one set apart to inspect the construction. Every wire slot is defined, that's a surprise. I have several cords with one end or the other on them, each has a connector based problem, they each will be changed to this. Glad I got a 6pack of these.

The only thing that could make these better is that if they had a POSITIVE light when circuit is LIVE

Complete sets male/female plugs. Works well replacing original plugs for my electric cords.

not a lot to say as they are a simple thing good weather proofing only issue I had was screws were very soft souse caution when tightening them
